Well, a lot has happened since the COVID scare and things are being handled much better now that we know what we're dealing with. One of the reasons I quit nursing after 34+ years being an RN and not because of Fear but the BS that has been going on. Almost 46 years as a public servant LEO and ambulance service as well. Great that so many are sending in patches and other items in support of SMFR. Eric and Connor are a great team of PIOs and really enjoy Connor's responses to what is going on with her smile and laughter. Keep safe and will continue to watch all your videos.

I totally love your KZbinChannel, used it to train for a Role as an american Paramedic. Here in Germany a lot of things might be similiar at first, but the entire dynamic is different. And since the almost the whole world is on lockdown now, I watched each and every video in the past few weeks :D So thank you for all your work, thank you for the insights. Personally I would like to look inside the firehouses a little bit more and on fire prevention.

Nice to see you guys again and I love the positive attitudes. We'll get through this. I hate to say this, but for the first time since I separated from PD/FD/EMS Emergency Communications in the Midwest a few years ago, I can honestly say I am glad I am not working. Normally, I would jump right in and help, but after 30+ years of work, and with the faith I have that the younger generations have the knowledge, experience, training, and energy that I can rest easy. You do good work and stay safe. I will dig into my boxes and try to find some old patches to send y’all!

I really liked the part with the inspector and the talk about retailers at essential businesses blocking or partially blocking aisles. I am ashamed to say I did not think about that until I heard his comments on the video. I went to pick up Rxs for a family member today at a pharmacy and even they had some aisles partially blocked off. I did not say a word but thought to myself, "What if...?" If they had an HVAC unit that went haywire and filled the store with smoke, it probably would have added 50% more evacuation time for patrons. Just a thought.

To properly encourage the public to properly wear PPE, set a good and proper example. The inspector going into the ACE store for the inspection was clearly not properly wearing his face mask and had a dangling head strap. I love the work of the PIOs and the videos you post. It is nice to see inside and the real life behind the scenes. I know Denver dabbled into it for a short time. I now live in Aurora and wish they did something like this. You guys do a great job.

When multiple units/apparatus are called to an incident how do you decide who is called upon? The closest units?

Correct me if I am wrong but when a call is gone through for example a structure fire. There needs to be a set number of trucks dispatched to the scene. The amount of trucks dispatched varies depending on the department but in most cases at least 2 engines, 1 ladder , 1 ambulance and 1 chief are dispatched. This number of course varies depending on the size and needs of the situation.

There is one video you could if you listen to closely here a full alarm to a kitchen fire which is I found unnecessary!!! For all the units called in... I believe it was 3 engines, 2 ambulances, Chief a ladder and or truck and a few others!
