Bully 2 is a highly anticipated sequel, however a lot of information has been leaked about it over the years by OFFICIAL Rockstar developers. Personally I think they would be smart to keep it set in that 90s style era. Bully has it’s own wacky punk graphic novel aesthetic and it’d just be lame to modernize it too much, it would lose all its retro charm, save the modern satire and technology for GTA.

the nice thing is that in reality we don't know what year it is set in because the setting is a bit of a mix of different eras, but the fact that in a mission a professor mentions the internet makes it clear that it is set in the 90s or so

I don’t think it’d be too controversial, look at Euphoria, Degrassi, Skins. All way more in your face about dark themes with kids than Bully ever was. You keep looking at it in a light of realism but it’s just a wacky punk comic strip world, it’s fine. As for guaranteed money, it’s Rockstar. They could fart and get people to buy a whiff, and it’s not exactly niche like it was in 2006. Most let’s players today have at least a few videos on Bully for a reason and Rockstar knows that, it would sell like hot cakes.

Bully has always looked 100% realistic, never semi-cartoony. I hope if Rockstar ever makes and publishes a sequel that they’ll keep it looking as realistic as GTA and Red Dead. Hell, I just wish they would make a Bully 2. Don’t care if it doesn’t feature Jimmy Hopkins as the returning protagonist, it’s a title that should just happen.

Bully 2 was cancelled a long time ago when I was working at Rockstar NYC. I was actually sad about it cause I love the game. The first game was actually one of my earlier projects I got to QA test at Rockstar NYC. I hope they do eventually bring out a sequel. Great vid!

I mean if you’ve been following the bully news the sequel was already kinda confirmed but gets to me is that we know that it has had three separate production cycles which were stopped due to presumed creative isssues and it actually makes sense. @@CrackedJust1n Honestly some of the dystopian future-esque stuff in GTA Online is cool in isolation, even though it doesn't fit into GTA necessarily. Stuff like the Oppressor and whatnot I could see in like a Cyberpunk or dystopian police GTA-like game akin to Cyberpunk 2077 but with more satirization of the genre, and Rockstar's level of polish and attention to detail and Rockstar's more sandbox approach. It just sucks they don't divide up into different projects anymore, I'm sure there's enough developers in the world to do it. Rockstar and Take-Two are massive, and they could be using that Shark Card monry to fund so much more I feel.

Weak take on RDR3. It's definitely happening and there's so much to tell about those characters lives before the events of RDR2. And you could start playing as dutch in prime western times trying to build the gang. To think they will pop gta's after gta's is dumb. What I can tell you is that it might be gta 6, then a smaller IP, then rdr3, Then a smaller IP, and maybe just maybe after like 2 decades you will have a new gta.... But the company will be all dismantled by then, either the right person buys the company and takes the wheels, or it's done.

I don't think Bully 2 needed only 2 or 3 years. If that would've been the case then Rockstar would've let the development of that game finish first since they were at no rush of making GTA 6 anytime soon considering how much money maker GTA online is. I think Bully 2 either was in early stage were they only had ideas which they used in RDR 2 eventually or they just postponed this Game maybe they will make it after they done with GTA 6. Also sometime ago LA Noire Part II title was leaked I don't know maybe Bully II could be a distraction so that Rockstar would quietly work on LA Noire Squeal.

According to the Rockstar New England developers Bully 2 was being worked on for about 15 months before they all got pulled off the project to work on Max Payne and Red Dead Redemption. After those games came out they never returned to bully for some reason, the developers themselves said it would have needed about 2 to 3 years to release but by the time Red Dead was done they were putting all their recourses into GTA 5. Also, I never heard about L.A Noire II, I hope that's true! I LOVED L.A Noire, an absolutely fantastic game that I'll always go back to every few years. Love to see a fellow L.A Noire enjoyer

So just wanted to share my little red dead 3 theory with everyone here to see if anyone else thought of it but. In my opinion if you remember the beginning of RDR2 when Davey was dying. In theory the game could go back in time yet again and we could play as Davey when Dutch Arthur and John were all a little younger and we’d see how some of the newer members of the gang came to join and the ending of RDR3 could be on the ferry boat in black water which would tie it into RDR2. Thoughts?
