His name is Bad Dog, and he was actually a background character in the show. I believe he only appeared in the early episodes as one of Snaptrap's minions. He never saw much use, so I guess he got ejected from the series.

The way to get good at drawing is practice every day. if you do atleast a couple drawings a day you will be good by the end of the year. I learned by drawing the characters as I watched them on tv. I would turn on Spongebob and draw him as I see him.
