When you finally find out what's in the coffin he's been hauling around for the whole movie, it's pretty badass.

I could not stop laughing when he pulled it out, the whole movie I'm trying to untangle the metaphor of his coffin and it's just a machine gun case

It's not a gatling gun. A gatling gun fires six barrels clockwise and the ammunition feeds into it the opposite with a cooling system. That gun was before the gatling gun. But I forgot the name of it.

Fact: This scene inspired the Gungrave series by Yasuhiro Nightow. I tried to find examples for Gungrave Overdose as well, but could not find a good video. Here's some examples from the first game and from Gore. I think you could see these where the inspiration came from. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIS5lJStmN2qnqM kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqLIlpWiqa6oeac

When there were wacky gatling gun cowboy hijinks like in Gungrave and Trigun, sometimes I kinda thought of this scene 😂🤣😂🤣

I came here because of the gun. The one here in the movie looks like a Hollywood (sphagetti) adaptation of the French Mitrailleuse gun. You can learn more about them here. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitrailleuse
@matthewutech5970 Жыл бұрын
Funny enough, yes. While this specimen is fictional; the Maxim gun was being produced from 1886 onward, and earlier crank handle guns like the Gardner & Nordenfelt gun also existed. The only real issue with a cowboy having one of these would be swiping one from the military.
@fakenews61336 жыл бұрын
Little did we know that fifty years later terontino would release a bad blacksploitation film with the same name, complete with every blacksploitation cliche including out of place rap music, and the Name Django would go from fucking Rambo rideing a horse to "That one black cowboy."

From today’s perspective this movie is absolut cheesy 🤣There are indeed good 60s movies that’ll be remembered. Django is not one of them
@ThatGirlYouWannaBone Жыл бұрын
Django, Django Kill, Django Prepare a Coffin and Django the Bastard are all still better films than Django Unchained in my opinion, now that was cheesy with a highly forgettable soundtrack. On the other hand The Hateful Eight was great.
