Aireyale Sanders you get a certificate of completion once you get to 1500 hrs and Aveda has a graduation and yes you get to keep everything you receive....I think it would be a great idea for you to go there I love it 😍

Aireyale Sanders you get a certificate and have to go to state board, test and if you pass you get your state license. And yes. You pay for your kits with your tuition. When I went to school it was near 20000 to go for cosmo at aveda.

Also when I went I recieved all the Aveda brushes and a basic line of Aveda hair products along with the oils and a samsomite bag instead of a duffle bag.

Smalltownglam really we had to bad 21,000 and we got 3 aveda brushes and 2 applicator brushes for color and 2 color bowls and we for none of the color line that would have been so cool tho and I’m sure our tuition went up bcuz of the ipads but the new classes coming in at are getting the iPad pros and their tuition is still the same which I awesome bcuz the screen is so much bigger

Ibleedbeauti I double checked it was 23000 and they were talking about the next class getting iPads to reduce paper use. I went when the school just opened in Tucson when I was 17 in 2008. We got loads of nice things. I didn't get to finish so I'm finishing now and I had to practically buy most of my stuff. Which I don't mind if the crappy school I am attending would deduct my kit cost. Once you go to Aveda no other school can compare. They are very educated and well trained. Soak up every bit of it. I loved how we had actual professionals come in and give classes. My goal was makeup artist and we had a hand full of professionals in the indusrty come talk to us. I lost most of my stuff for my kit but they made sure we had the best leaving school because we going to go out representing them.

We don’t do natural hair in Louisiana Aveda an the teachers don’t teach us an being lied to about doing all hair types

kd kd we really don’t learn much about natural hair either but i can say we learn on the floor bcuz we get clients of all nationalities so they are forced to teach us but we honestly don’t touch in it as much as i feel we should 😩

I’m thinking about going to aveda I’m in cosmetology school right now but the school I’m at is full of shit I go to Santa Monica college I don’t like that I have 1 day of curly technique class than the next day is hair coloring class it’s full of crap

Diana Coleman i don’t know how long you have been attending your school but you have a month or two after starting to quit and not have to owe much money so if you really don’t like it you should do that and try to attend aveda now your hours you have won’t transfer but it’s not that bad bcuz then you can get the full aveda experience...i hope this helps 😍😘
