The great thing about a real Zippo in an emergency situation is that even if it does leak fluid you can use any flammable fluid in it in an emergency and still make it work!! Using the butane replacement when you run out of butane there's no way to use it in an emergency!!!

Miyoo is an EXCELLENT device. If you have been on the fence I would say go for it. It's best in it's price point and I would say it's better then many $100-150 devices. The next "best" would likely be the retroid pocket 2+ in terms of $/performance but RP2+. The main advantage of the RP2+ is the performance for $89-99, but it is not as pocketable and is not as "pick up & play" as the Miyoo Mini.

I would say the Miyoo is nearly the perfect portable 8 & 16bit system. I mainly use mine for old RPGs, Tetris, and a little Mario. I find it's best used with games with simple controls and also turn based games. I would also point out that this device shines as a short session device NOT a long session device because small systems can be uncomfortable for longer play.

Im sad that the PSP Go is not part of your EDC anymore. This channel is the reason why I got PSP Go cause how slick it is to carry anywhere anytime and just slides off on when you need to pause. But it is understandable. The new emulation devices keeps updating their OS by the community and the memory itself is customizable.

i think, the original product for the water bottle is "memo bottle" and i love those, too also, i do get the need for some smartphone holding gadget, but i think popsockets are the worst of the bunch. sinjimoru has something detachable (and therefore qi charger friendly) that also can hold a bunch of credit card sized cards. if you don't mind not having access to qi charging, i would recommend something from moft, like the moft x. other than those, i have a bunch of kickstarter products lying around here, all of which i would consider superior to a popsocket: magcardgrip, flipgrip, tring

one huge flaw with the Miyoo Mini is how fragile it is, on r/sbc there have been a ton of broken screen post, essentially it cannot survive a fall on a hard surface. That's why im personally shy about taking it outside my house, maybe im paranoid but I dont want to risk it.

I've been debating getting a Miyoo Mini. I got my Steam Deck back in June and I love it, but it actually drove me back to playing my PSP Go because I wanted something compact to throw in my pocket. No way in hell am I bringing the behemoth Deck with me. That said, love my Go, but I love the upright design of the DMG, do the Mini is very appealing to me, though I do think I'd miss playing PSP games, so I haven't jumped on that yet. Not that I actually play games when I'm out and about. Can't really focus on anything while I'm also trying to wrangle my two little kids.
