To me, the real racism, is anyone telling someone else how they can wear their hair. If a white woman wants to wear braids who cares, seriously most cultures have a long history with various braids. If a woman of color wants to wear a weave or her natural hair, it's her choice and it's all beautiful. It's racist and petty to nitpick over how people wear their hair. And I think, if anything, emulating another cultures style is flattering and showing your love for their culture. It's a compliment.

The downside of the Quest 3 is that the only interfaces it uses to connect to a PC are either Wifi or USB. Both introduce significant latency due to encoding + decoding times for the video stream. Not to mention that you get artifacts because of the compression. If you want to minimize artifacts the latency increases. Dedicated PCVR headsets interface directly with the GPU which eliminates latency since the stream doesn't need to be encoded and decoded. You always get an instant and clear image. Also the tracking doesn't work as well as a proper PCVR setup with base stations. The Quest 3 uses infrared sensors combined with hand tracking and AI to fill in the gaps. It works pretty well but if your hands are behing your headset the tracking will not work properly. But it is very cheap in comparison. For Beatsaber I just play on the Quest 3 Standalone since it runs at 120hz with good visuals and doesn't add any latency. It is an awesome headset for most people. That being said, for proper PCVR you need a PCVR headset.

Without watching the video, here's my take: No. I hold my Kindle Paperwhite in one hand and turn pages with a swiping motion using the other. The devices I've seen operate using a remote, meaning I would need to have my right hand occupied with the remote anyway, so it wouldn't be saving any time or effort, and there would be that thing clamped to the screen distracting me. I have no doubt that there are people who prefer turning pages by pressing a button rather than swiping or tapping the screen, so these might be good for them. I don't get why, but that's irrelevant. Different people have different ways of doing things, and that's fine.

No, I have never seen these! I have a reader with buttons, a kindel Oasis (now discontinued!) and turn touch screen off, otherwise I touch the screen by mistake and find myself changing pages. A built in remote sounds good, if I can turn the touch off. This current product is no good for me as the touch screen needs to still be on. I am amazed at how stupid Kindel is, I went through the touch screen options, and every single one has the whole screen active, so stupid. (Perhap

Hey Izzy, I know this was about gaming, but I also wanted to chime in regarding piracy with Comics/Mangas (also even today it is the easiest to do too 😎). So long 'IMO' as any person especially little kids that want to enjoy as much media they are passionate about decide to pirate BUT NEVER FREELOAD once they come of age and earn their own income. What is the harm?! Besides piracy is STILL preservation and GUARANTEED DRM-Free Digital BABY! No one should be shamed of Digital Piracy and companies should just embrace it. Now if every pirate freeloaded and refuse to support the creators and companies producing products...just cause...then yeah we have a problem. i have a page turner i use with my kindle. my set up is to prop my kindle paperwhite onto a gooseneck device holder that's clipped to my headboard and boom...i can lay in bed and turn pages hands free while being under the covers the whole time. it's the ultimate lazy reader's setup.

I use a 8bitdo Micro with my Surface Duo and the Moonreader app. It seems the app automatically maps the controls, but the 8bitdo Micro is a remapable controller anyway.

This would be great for certain disabled individuals! Especially paired with a stand. But even as an abled bodied person it does annoy me having to hold my kindle in bed on my side lol. i have thought of using one of those weighted posable ipad stands to hold my kindle for me but now knowing about page turners… i could hands free lay in bed and under the covers press a little button… i could use this lol

I love to read! Would actually love to get one of the new color Kindles, but they're too rich for my blood. I just recently finished Play Nice from Jason Schreier, which you might enjoy, given you're a Blizzard fan. I do have to say, I don't fully understand the stand and the page turner. I mostly read in bed, anywhere from a half hour to an hour, but I usually lay on my side and hold my Kindle at the same angle as my face, so I don't seem to have any issues there... But Kindle has kind of ruined proper books for me. They're uncomfortable and difficult to read in my normal position and they lack a backlight and dictionary; I still read them (just started a physical book last night), but it is not preferred and if I have a choice, it's eReader every time.

I have a Kindle Oasis and I really like it. But I've been thinking of getting out of the Amazon ecosystem. I love page turning buttons, too so the Libra Colour has caught my eye. It looks great and having color, USB-C, more formats, and 3rd party service integration, and the reading stats would be super nice. But I hesitate because the display on the Oasis is so nice. Not just the lower ppi with the color, but also the fact that the display is recessed into the device. I love that my Oasis screen is completely flat and that helps with touch gestures.
