At my school we take a depo course & court course for 6 weeks. You learn on the job tips mainly from sitting out with real reporters.

How often do you have to do read backs ? I was talking to a court reporter and she said she hates her job because lawyers try to embarrass her with read backs? I had never heard this from anyone so I was wanting to hear your opinion on this
