You need to buy real sparring gloves winning 16oz.and the Adidas let them.for the heavy bag!! Never use the sparring gloves in the heavybag

As long as your taking care of your gloves and keeping an eye on the padding and replace them when they are worn there really isn't a massive problem with using the same gloves for sparring and some bag work. It's only dangerous when people don't understand when the gloves are over worn and then try punch someone in the face in my opinion
