I personally had a vaginal birth and I bought leggings and so happy I did bc I didn’t want to feel loose and it went over my belly so I felt more snugged and sucked in! But everyone is different . I always recommend to bring a pair just in case you never know how you want to feel

Use the haakaa religiously I didn't I only had a 5 oz goal everyday and I saved 700 oz in my freezer by the time my son was 6 months old. Even if you end up pumping the haakaa is amazing to use on one side.

I've had two induced labors after my water broke and I regret not doing everything I could have to avoid an epidural and work more with my body. I could give you a long list of advise but I'll keep the comments short lol

Grace Dundore oh no! I’m suuuuper interested in what moms have to say and advice on different labor things!!! It super interesting to me and coming sometime or another 🙈 so tell me more!!! I may get induced, so tell me more on your experience!! I know everyone’s different, but i wanna bear!!!

Being induced can either start slow or start hard it honestly depends on your body and each labor as well. With my daughter labor started hard and fast and I held out on the epidural until 8cm. If I had known she would be born 2 hours later I would not have had it. For my son it started slow like 24 hours of nothing until finally they cranked up the medicine and it started to work. Once my contracts started with my son they were all in my stomach and hips where my daughter was in my back. The first contractions are easy and rest through them. Relax and focus on something. For my daughter it was sounds. The sound the ball made with the floor, the sound of my feet hitting the floor between each rotation on the ball. For my son it was sounds as well but I made the sound. If you do make noise keep them low and deep not high pitch because the higher the pitch the more tense you are. Do not be scared to throw up during labor it helped me dilate because my body was focused on the throwing up not what was going on down there. If you start to throw up drink water because throwing up water is better than nothing. Counter pressure is where it's at. Have Grant push on the back of your hips and butt area. If you can get away with being intermittently monitored or cordless monitor then do that because moving during the bad contractions is what helps the most. Pushing is hard but I was numb so it didn't hurt 😂 with my daughter they kept telling me to push like I needed to poop but I had been pushing like that for 40 minutes and nothing was happening. I started rotating my hips upward and pushing towards the sky and that's what got them both moving. I pushed for 5 minutes with my son even completely numb. Side note: the epidural with my son didn't work at first they kept adding more medicine and finally it all kicked in at once I was numb from my back to my toes but then it started to make its way upward and I couldn't breathe. They also wouldn't let me move at all after getting the epidural even before it started working and that was the worst part. I was at 10 in less than 2 hours after I got the epidural and I also regret getting it because of that. I do not have back pain or any of the other bad side effects. Epidurals are great tools and help alot if you have reached the point of torture and just can't take any more. If I think of more tips or advise I'll comment more but good luck! My first baby came at 38 weeks and my second was at 39!

Don't forget your phone charger! Also I would HIGHLY recommend you wear high waisted compression shorts/ undies. Whether you have Vaginal or csection. Personally helped me feel super compact lol and helps with tummy going down. I definitely wanted a tight feel around my tummy after giving birth. You'll definitely be using that nipple cream (eeeek!) I love how excited you are. The experience is amazing and it's great to see you have an open mind about how everything will go! All the best lovely. Hope it's all you're dreaming of xx

My baby boy is 1 month old tomorrow! I had a second degree tear! THE TUCKS PADS SAVED MY LIFE!!!! I went through almost 3 containers! I lined my pad with a few each time I changed my pad! Also that frida peri bottle was bomb! The mesh underwear they give everyone down plays! But honestly I wore them for weeks after! So comfy! I asked for extra! Don’t be scared to ask them for extra whatever! Especially baby diapers. We used close to almost 250 nb diapers in 3 weeks and now he has been in size ones! Goodluck! You are strong you got this!!! It will be the best day of your life ❤️ Also even if u take extra diapers home target has a policy even if you didn’t buy them from target as long as they carry that brand you can go in and exchange them for ones they do have. (Sizes ones twos ex). Only target does this tho! ❤️ (sealed packs)
