I love the little thoughtful touches, I still remember (I’m 59 now) my mom warming up my old school Thermos to carry my garlic 😬 spaghetti 🍝 to school, looking back, it was packed with so much ❤️ so now i see my grandbaby taking his little Hawaiian roll sandwiches to kindergarten…It’s comforting to bring something from home. ❤

I know it's a little weird but I'm a 66year old disabled and retired person and I love to watch your videos then make lunches for myself that will be in the fridge for heating (if needed) later in the week. My other lunches I make are bento boxes of fruit, cheeses and small sammies. So, thanks for your recipes and help. P. S. I also wanted to say "thanks" for showing your Pioneer Woman kitchen items. I fell in love with them and, even though she didn't like them, my daughter bought me the 4 piece storage vases for large cooking utensils, and the flatware storage item that sits on my table. So, thanks for your help!

Not weird at all everything so expensive now a days don't want waste on food we didn't like. It's only my son n I he doesn't eat very much or a variety so it's hard to think of things. A small croc pot is a good idea can get a least 2 or 3 days of food and you can freeze a couple meals.

@krisheathman90533 ай бұрын
Omgoodness…..school lunch in your area is $8/day!?!? That is absolutely outrageous and it’s probably not even good food that’s prepared by cooks. It’s probably, more than likely, the pull from the freezer, heat and serve kind. Lots of processed foods. You are going to save tons of money and your kiddos will get real food. That’s crazy. What part of the country, or world, do you reside in?

I'm the same way about the grapes - my daughter is 7 and insists that she eats them uncut at school, but I still half them at home. And as far as vegetables she doesn't really like those either. It's tough to even get her to eat cooked vegetables these days - and you're so right that it's not worth wasting the food if they aren't going to touch it.
