J1 student here. We were told not to use the retractable badge reel for protection from getting it pulled by the confused patients

That’s really only for psych! But it also depends on your instructor. I’ve only used retractable :)

New student here: my concern about the Bogg bag is that it’s open and I keep hearing that you have to leave your clinical bag out, meaning no locker. Am I over thinking it?

I’m waiting until I’m a nurse for a bogg bag so that i’ll have a locker (hopefully the hospital I work at has them) - But yes in clinical your bags are left “out” but usually they’re in the break room!
