What's in my Vintage Filofax

It is. He was a grade A racer, he did really well so he raced until he broke his leg (a month before he was 4) and it wasn't treated until they released him to rescue three months later. Greyhound Friends of NJ had the surgery done but there was a lot of damage. He had several rods put it and they came out one by one starting less then a week after we adopted him. The last one must have been holding his whole joint together because everything started collapsing after that one came out.

Janet, That's a hard question really. I've been blogging since Feb. 09 and consistently blogged, daily for months - maybe years sometimes. I never thought I'd do videos until I started doing filofax posts. There's just something that works so well with a video when showing a filofax. I feel more comfortable blogging/writing and doing photography then talking but it really is great for filofaxes.

Thank you so much for asking, I never know what to put in. What's interesting to one person is another's TMI. Ventura usually wears his brace but it didn't get on today. I think the brace helps him manage and also walk on hard surfaces. On a surface like a street or gravel he walks using his other three legs. With the brace he walks on four which is better for a whole lot of reasons. He won't get any better because of the brace but hopefully he will not get worse.

Because I started using them right before going away I didn't have time to REALLY write a lot. But I will be in the future for sure - And they make a great base for pencil drawings, not that it's something that gets done all the time but it's fun for me, and relaxing! I love that they are colorful without being too much. REALLY nice. I miss having a local paperchase!

As fast as greyhounds are, when they relax they really relax - Can't remember a time I was so relaxed my tongue kept falling out!! Tracy

Oh and those brightly colored A to Z dividers were from me. I got them for free during my first Philofaxy meetup in September 2011. Never used them tho. The Greyhound sleeping position is soo funny! We have a greyhound/Stafford mix dog and she also sleeps like this!

Amy, I love my sleeping greyhound more too :) And that's saying a lot! I used to have a neighbor with a rhodesian ridgeback, HUGE! And he was so sweet. The woman who owned him was a tiny thing but it was clear she was walking him! Tracy

I know! He's always laying by my bed or in his bed downstairs. This is the first time he's ever gotten 'involved' in a video. I didn't know if I should leave it in - I didn't want people to click out of the video because I didn't start in with my filofax but I left it in because he's never done that before. And weiner dogs were one of the only dogs Ginger liked (before I got Ventura) she only liked dogs smaller then her -or in the case of daushounds, shorter then her!

The label maker is an old one, the one's with a plasticy tape. Most were made by a company called dymo. There are new ones. I'm not sure if any of the new ones use that tape, most have gone over to a thin sticky kind. They still sell the refills for these so someone must sell them though most aren't like this anymore

Oh man, I'm so sorry. I picked yours and Imy's up the same day and should have photographed them separately until I had my thoughts together but I got SO excited. Office supplies were flying everywhere :) I remember now about your dog! I think you posted a picture on Twitter?

Chica, Someone sent them to me. They are Filofax brand but the copyright is 2001 so I'm not sure if they are the same ones they sell now. Could be still available but I'm not sure. As to Ventura, he makes me laugh just watching him sleep :) Tracy

There isn't a dollar general around me. I don't think its a chain - The dollar and party mart in Chester, NJ. A lot of people have had good luck, better then I did, in dollar stores. The only problem is they never have the same thing so it's all luck really Tracy
