Citi recently changed its Premieremiles card from Visa to Mastercard. Just received the replacement card last week. Anyways, hope you can compare some gold cards soon too. Also, I'm trying to look for a Visa-branded rewards CC and I'm eyeing for the BDO Gold Visa or HSBC Gold Visa Cashback. Any recos? Awesome vlog! Keep it up! 😊

Aaron Olaguera i know! bummer haha. But it was also because I was told by 2 separate merchants in the mall that they only accept BDO/BPI for 0% installments. I was quite surprised but I get now why these banks aren’t as competitive with their rewards. They sent me their gold visa! I haven’t used it but perks seem pretty similar to the platinum one. Citibank should really send me the new card, haha I think they’re waiting for my card to expire 😂

Aaron Olagueray my bf has the HSBC Gold Visa Cashback but he prefers using the citibank cc, Seem like the cashback doesn’t add up to that much. He only uses it to gas up. Since you already have a Citibank Card, I’d go for the BDO or BPI CC, it compliments well with a travel rewards CC. I’m trying to compile a spreadsheet with all the credit catds (a bit ambitious so I’m far from done 😂)

In the Philippines? Not every establishment accepts card like small stores. But malls, restaurants, supermarkets, department stores, and all essentials all accept.

Citibank for personal and Unionbank for work. BDO for big in store purchases. But in Lazada there’s a 10% disc for citi on fridays and 15% for BDO on mondays 😂

It depends on your credit card. You can search online where you can claim the points of your particular credit card. Some are for travel (airline, hotels, etc), some for items (there would be a catalog on their website), some are GCs, for grocery, etc

Hi, I requested for an increase in credit limit and they asked me to send them my credit limit from another credit card (I had citibank that time already), Credit Cards tend to compete in treating you “better”, so they get your loyalty in choosing their card over others. After getting approved for an increase in credit limit, they upgraded my card, too!

No, the emv chip is in the card kasi. You can use cardless if it’s an online transaction. It’s also more sanitary to use your card and tap/swipe rather than your phone.
