Consider this: A ( D. I. Y. ) for the Regular Person. NOT as Aware of the Basic Options when it comes from the (A to Z ) Home ownership and Weekend Warrior Assembly, Install, Fixes and Upgrades. SUGGESTION Should cover Reasonable price options that can be purchased separately over time. NO Harbor Freight or Junk Drawer throw a ways. Have already out this challenge out there to other content creators. Use a budget starting at $ 25 per week like a first time Renter or home owner might be willing to spend here and there. Hammer, Tape Measure, Screwdrivers, Levels, Hack Saw, Allen Keys, Hand Wrenches , Metal Chisel, Steel Punches, Scratch AWL, Utility Knife, Circuit tester, Wire Cutters, Masons Strings, Stud Finders, Torx Head drivers, NO Power tools yet Basic Tool Box or Bags that can hold more as time goes on. This LIST is NOT complete is merely an example of what People Would need to get started. Places like: Home Depot, Ace Hardware, Menards, LOWES, Other box stores. NO COMBO Kits or All in One type fixes allowed for this Challenge. Brands like Craftsmen, Kobalt, Milwaukee, Cresent, Klien, Estwing, De Walt, Husky, Stanley, Gear wrench, etc. The Reasons for Restrictions is to Level the playing field . NOT just spend money and Need to replace them after the first use. THINK Back to your youth. Did the Folks or Relatives have a Shop or work space with items laid out and easy to use ? Was there a Local Hardware store you could walk into almost anytime and get what was needed at a price all would be able to pay. No tool Truck Snap On, Mac, Cornwell, or Others out there. I DID NOT want Harbor Freight to be included SPECIFICALLY due to there lack of locations over all and the Issues with Quality and Junk Brands needing to be replaced sooner rather then later. $ 25 per week , Give or Take. By the end of One year. What Would YOUR Recommendations bring us closer to owning then all others have come up with ? Not only what is listed. No Power tools allowed. This is Off the shelf ( DO IT YOURSELF ) Hand Tools. Be it in your way of doing things or what is Best for the general public when it comes to Buy Once not each time a job needs to get done.
