Its always the player and not the equipment, golf clubs are all good, it really doesnt matter what brand you use, get fitted and just /praiseblame yourself if you play good or bad, the material nowadays is so good!! nice vlog!!

What a lovely gentlemen Craig is. Great ball striker as you showed in the vlog. My car can't drive as far as he can. I play Mizuno MP25 irons and Mizuno woods, following a fitting 5 years ago from my local pro, because of the feel off the face, front to back distance control is definitely better and I found that the traditional lofts suited my particular game in the fitting. Fitted SM7 Vokey wedges - again based on feel off the face and control of spin into the green. I bought a Calloway Epic driver 4 years ago - just because of the new jailbreak tech in it at the time and it flies further in the air. Good driver in summer, not so good on windy days, so I was interested to hear Craig changes his driver loft on links courses. Having tested quite a few clubs over the last couple of years, I really do think "feel" is more important than some people say it is.

I got fitted 2 years ago and i was told i was x stiff in my irons my old ones were just stiff. I feel they are too stiff cant feel anything from them. Been thinking of going back to my old irons recently.

“Tipped x”? I don’t get it. The 620 cb has a tapered shaft so you can’t tip them. Modus has a 120 tx which is “tour x”... I’d love to get the low down on this.

You’re correct, tapered shafts can’t be tipped by much (if any) due to their parallel tip section. You can however hard or soft step a shaft to increase or decrease stiffness. The TX models in shafts are lower torque models, they’re extra stiff as with other extra stiffs, however they feature lower torque for a little more stability. Hope this helps 👍🏻

Btw, when the lad gets her to the states, there is no wayyy he’s taking out the 58*. If he wants the extra long iron, he’ll go 47*, 53*, 59*, but no way in hell the 54* is the most lofted over here.
