Got the milky way arching across the sky with my 8mm a couple nights ago. My tracker was playing up a bit, but still managed a decent exposure. I'll have to figure out how to do tracked panorama stitching at some point!

I saw my first Noculluient Clouds of 2022 on the 27th of May at about 23hr.from north east England.I see these every year but I have never seen the winter equivalent,Nacreous Clouds, sadly and these are high(literally high!) on my list of exotic cloud types to see.

Do milky way panaromas consist of single exposures or stacked exposures?

You can do it either way. Stacking requires much more work but will yield better detail. Just be sure to time it out properly so you can get all of your panels in before the Milky Way gets too high in the sky for your focal length. You can also do a tracked panorama as well.

I'm in Denmark, so I guess I get a little bit more darkness than you? Sadly I only have 50mm lens and no computer, so I can only get a little bit milky-way 😬 I actually got the moon huge right at moonrise on the lunar eclipse day. Will the supermoon be even bigger this month? 😳 I got it with 800mm and about 200m away from the rise spot 😊

It's possible, in the first hours of the night you can shoot the winter sky and then early in the morning the core of the milky way 😁
