'When I told my dad I was going to be a comedian, he said, 'that is your first joke!'.
British Congolese Comedian, Eddie Kadi calls us to action whilst sharing stories from his travels around Africa and comedic journey so far.
Eddie Kadi was born in the DR Congo in 1983 and moved to the UK at the age of eight. The first black British comedian to headline the O2 Arena, Kadi who started performing in his undergraduate years has performed across Africa with some of the continent's biggest names and at Africa's biggest entertainment awards ceremony AMVCA.
Current, relevant, thought provoking yet refreshingly, controversy free, Eddie Kadi has
proven himself to be the consummate entertainer. He is gifted with the ability to reach across cultures and break down social stereotypes as he delights his diverse audiences.
This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at ted.com/tedx

'Eh henh' (is an exclamation of I agree or to total support) and 'Ah ah' (is an exclamation of amazement and shock) they are both Nigerian colloquial terms of expression.
