That was really cool. The sad part is that we just don't get workmanship like that anymore. I'm reminded of the few high victorian homes we still have here in America. The ones with all the hand carved wood inside. The millers would make it piece by piece. It was so beautiful. In todays ecomy, work like that would probably cost in the billions.

@@CrossdressingLifestyle Dear Sophie, let me explain my criticism, well-intended as it was I ought to justify it. My problem with flat work boots on ladies is how they destroy any attractive leg-line. I am a dancer as you know, so I spend a lot of time looking in the mirror working on leg lines, the key to a flattering leg-line being to create a nice smooth swoop down the shin and the instep by extending the foot. That’s exactly what a high heel (above about 3-3.1/2 inches) does. As well as lengthening the leg and making the foot smaller, it also elevates the ankle, so the curve of the ankle is shown off in its own right as a thing of beauty. When you boil it down, it’s that line that makes a lady’s leg elegant and attractive, lady-like you might say. But those flat boots break the leg line and so from the neck down your look is entirely masculine - of course your hair and makeup are, as always, simply stunning, but to me the rest seems incongruous. I’m not against chunky boots by any means, it’s a fashion I often embrace but can be done in a girly way. Check out my pink thigh boots just posted on my channel, they have giant wedges with cleated bottoms but the heel is three and a half inches higher than the platform so they still create a nice leg-line. Yet they are incredibly comfortable and good for all day wear even if I’m on my feet constantly. I have lots of high platform wedges, some with fierce cleated soles but always with a significant rise from platform to heel. There are some chunky work-style boots that have a big high heel, those give a rugged look but still with something of a feminine leg line so it’s unmistakeably “tough girl”, not “tough bloke” which is what flat work boots always say. Anyway that’s just my take. You must wear what makes you feel good! I ALWAYS appreciate and admire your work and am looking forwards to having it back in my life again! Appreciatively, Marion XXX
