(Because according to Merriam Webster dictionary, a child is an unborn or recently born person). Meaning, you kill a child, you kill a person. Killing a person is murder. Therefore, you’ve committed murder and you deserve to get punished as needed.

I appreciate your empathy, but it's misdirected. But I could've been a parent if we didn't get the abortion. Know that the push towards women getting abortion is worse than pushing women towards having their kid. You can always abscond yourself of the responsibility of taking care of a kid, but you can't for killing an innocent life. Women should really be educated about the repercussions of abortion too. The mental, physical, and spiritual toll of killing your own child is a larger burden than any infant could have been.

People always have so much to say when it’s not their situation. Being a female and finding our your pregnant can be scary. To think that your not in a place to support a child is scary. To have an abortion is frowned upon, to give your child up for adoption because you can’t take care of it is frowned upon and to be a struggling mother on benefits from the government is also frowned upon. So women should be allowed to make their decision about how they want to go about it. Definitely pro-choice definitely

I think the weird thing to me is that people care deeply about a women they don’t know having an abortion, but don’t care about that women or child after birth. Mom can commit suicide from postpartum depression and ppl will say “oh that’s sad.” A child can be thrown in foster care being abused and they don’t care, but they will stand outside an abortion clinic & protest against abortions. It’s the wildest thing that’ll never make since. Much less every women has their own reasons for having them and most are serious reasons. The important thing to know is live your life minding your business & not being in others because it’s very very odd. People have abortions for being extremely ill and sick during pregnancy & have no choice. Also, ppl bring up taking the pill women shouldn’t have to mess their bodies up with birth control. Tell men to wrap it or snip snip, but nobody wants to hear that. Not everyone gets an abortion just to get one. The system is horrible for pregnancy, sucky maternity leave if anything at all and pregnancy is a whole risk of it’s own. Only reason I’m managing mine is due to Zofran other wise I couldn’t hold any food down & couldn’t even walk. Multiple reasons for these decisions.

Nothing else would make me happier in life. But the fact that my boyfriend and I are struggling and still trying to find our way to financial freedom.. we couldn't bring ourselves to give birth to a baby and have us all be poor. As a former fetus I am all against the killing and dismembering unborn children. abortion is the greatest evil that has ever existed. The slaughter of the innocent unborn. A full form of child cut into pieces and removed. Take them out and let them die? And, it’s done. Suck them out in little pieces while their little systems wince at the pain. If one looks at what is being done-how atrocious and cruel it really is-I believe the reality of the evil of abortion becomes self-evident. the heart God has given us as a caring human tells us it’s not only wrong, but very, very wrong and it is evil. This being the case, it doesn’t really matter what human jurisprudence says or how socially or politically acceptable abortion is. Evil is evil. Sin is sin. God’s law takes precedence. A mother who decides to abort her child is unilaterally making a decision to end another person’s life. It is a deliberate termination of a human life while it is still in the womb-and that is and always has been the definition of murder. Murder is defined as “the unlawful, premeditated killing of one human being by another.” We cannot just do whatever we want because it feels good, it’s easy, and socially accepted. Abortion can seem like a quick and easy solution to the problem of an unplanned pregnancy. But sin is never the best way. Never. Sin has eternal repercussions that it never advertises up front. Sin costs more than we want to pay and hurts more than we thought it would. When modern culture decided to separate sexuality from morality, the problems got worse. God never intended any such separation. He created sex for the marriage relationship and for children to be welcomed into that marriage. Yes, it was wrong for you to have sexual relations outside the commitment of marriage - but two wrongs don’t make a right, and it would be wrong for you to end the life of this little child. You know If you cause a pregnant woman to miscarry, killing the unborn child, you can, and probably will, be charged with murder or manslaughter. In law, this applies from conception, no restrictions. The unborn child is viewed as a human being with all those rights under law. Even if the woman didn’t know she was pregnant at the time. Consider that the difference in abortion law is purely whether the child is wanted or unwanted. How moral is that? If you don’t want the baby, you can legally kill it using what are demonstrably cruel and horrific methods. The Child doesn't get a choice because the Child is HELPLESS. Abortion reflects a worldview which is all about the self - what I want is more important than what’s right. The most innocent suffer the worst. Life is sacred from the moment of conception. A Christian by definition is a follower of Christ. Anyone claiming to be a Christian must believe as He did and live according to God’s word. NO! You cannot love Jesus and believe that killing babies is just fine. An unborn child, from the very first moment of conception, is a new human individual. It’s alive and growing and it should be treated with the same respect for its life as any other human being until its natural death. God knows us before we are even born. How beautiful is that? He’s been there even before I can remember - from the beginning of life to the end. The Bible makes it clear that unborn children are human, alive, and loved by God just as much as we all are even as their tiny bodies are developing and growing in amazing ways. We cannot say we live for God (the Creator of life) in one breath and in the next, say it’s okay to take away another human being’s life before they have a chance to leave the womb. It is our responsibility as Christians to make choices that align with God - principles that align with our Christian values. We have to intentionally create an environment that inspires our children toward kindness and love, and toward valuing the sanctity of Life. Our purpose is to shield the weak from abuse by the strong, and there is no one “weaker or more voiceless” than unborn children. Loving one’s neighbour means protecting the rights of the most vulnerable. The Bible tells us who our Creator is, what He has done, what He will do, and how He desires us to live - and provides the tools we need to accomplish that. It does not promise an easy path, but we are called as Christ followers to bring hope to a dark and broken world. but that road leads to life, not death. As Christians, we are supposed to affect the culture, not blend into it. Our actions reveal what we believe about God. If we really value life the way God values life, shouldn’t we be raising our standards instead of lowering them, regardless of the circumstances? My prayer is that you will not end the life of the little child who is growing within you. You should not have an abortion because you and your baby deserve better than that. Seek God’s answers instead. Lord Jesus, we ask You to bless and protect the children who today are in their mothers womb. Save them from the danger of abortion. Give their mothers the grace to sacrifice themselves, in body and soul, for their children. Father, extend Your hand of protection to those threatened by abortion, and save them from its destructive power. Give Your strength to all fathers and mothers, that they may never give in to the fears that may tempt them to facilitate abortions. Bless our families, that we may have the joy of welcoming and nurturing the life of which You are the source and the Eternal Father. Amen. Psalm 127:3-5 "Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate."

Abortion is the greatest evil that has ever existed. The slaughter of the HELPLESS innocent unborn. Just in the United States, since 1970, that is over 50 Million people who have been put to death. and the people who encourage these womens to murder their own babies and who try cover up this all-too-common evil with empty rhetoric about "women's healthcare" or "the right to choose" are sickening. I can only suggest that maybe it doesn't move them, because they don't have a time machine to see the face of these killed humans, as toddlers or adults. They don't get to see the details of the lives of those that were put to death before leaving the womb... whether someone who would have found the cure to cancer, or the child will overcome their poverty or struggle through perseverance, was instead ripped out of their mothers' womb to become a number on an abortion graph. God has a plan, purpose and destiny for everyone. Abortion is murder, and murder is always wrong. The Bible condemns murder in all of its forms and specifically points out that babies in the womb are people (they don’t magically transform into human beings after they pass through the birth canal or incision [in the case of C seciton]). The Bible considers a fetus to be an unborn child, a planned human being that God is forming from the moment of conception. We know it is life because it grows and develops. The Bible also teaches that the person who intentionally takes a life will be held accountable before God. You shall not kill, because you are not the judge of who lives and dies. You are saying you know the future and know who should live and die by aborting the baby. You can't make that choice. Bible says it's God’s choice, not yours. Therefore, children in the womb should be respected and protected. The Bible has much to say about defending the cause of the weak, especially those who have no voice. "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are destitute" (Proverbs 31:8; see also Psalm 82:3). We bear the responsibility to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves, including children in the womb. Matthew 19:14 “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”

It's easy to judge when you have never experienced that individual's circumstance. All path's are different and you cannot generalize ideas on another woman's choice to follow through on terminating a pregnancy. Generalizing ideas based off of your personal beliefs, lack of sympathy or ignorance is your unfortunate prerogative. Unless you are that individual you cannot speak on or for that individual. Altitude Abstrakt this same argument could be used for a woman with a 3 year old. It is an invalid argument. If you saw a mother on the sidewalk pulling her babies limbs off and crushing their skull (which is literally what an abortion is) you would not make the argument that you could not prevent them from doing so since they were in need and felt trapped. Life is hard yes but nothing will ever ever ever excuse killing a child. Just because you cannot see it does not mean that it is not a child. If you knew the facts about fetal development and what an abortion does and not just the BS lies that PP tells women and the public you would be advocating against abortion

Yes, it was wrong for you to have sexual relations outside the commitment of marriage-but two wrongs don’t make a right, and it would be wrong for you to end the life of this little child.

Unplanned children are almost all an inconvenience to both the parents lives, futures and families. And this can cause the child to live a horrible life. It's a cycle, where what emotionally and psychologically affects the parents will be returned back to the child. It's a simple, yet painful truth. Adoption doesn't guarantee that both the child and parents will be free of these inconveniences, it will still affect the child and the parents separately. Abortion will usually only affect the mother, the rest of the future inconveniences will be terminated alongside the fetus. If any of you has the LEGAL choice to terminate tons of your unwanted responsibilities in a blink of an eye, you'd do it. A fetus who hasn't even started its life shouldn't amount more than the mother's, who is an actual living person.

A fetus is a living human being. Life begins at conception - calling it a fetus does nothing to take away it humanity. Fetus, embryo, zygote are the same as infant, toddler, adolescent, thats simply a term in the human development. No you cant throw away your responsibility as a parent. Every parent is expected to provide thier child of basic needs - food, shelter, clothing. If a couple starves their child its illegal. They are put in prison. Adoption works. In fact, newborn babies get adopted wayyy faster than toddlers or older children. There are many infertile women and men, gay couples and religious couples who adopt. Orphanages are funded by churches and the government. Adoption is great. Much better than abortion. Give the baby a chance to look at the world.

@@IsntTheInternetGreat Listen here buddy, abortion is not a solution. It's murder! You're murdering a child! A fetus is a developing HUMAN, so if you kill a fetus means you're killing a HUMAN in development. Here's some sex education for you, when a sperm cell enters an egg cell it becomes something completely different in an instant. Instead of them becoming nothing, they become a living something. And that living something is a HUMAN in development!! If they bring up the topic of "oppression" in pregnancies, you just know that they had sex with their partner and lack the responsibility and quality of a mother. Thus they deserve the description that i have written, "A disgusting unhealthy life of sex".

1:14 I related to that girl so much. I just had an abortion and I’m only 21 (not me in my profile pic lol) with not a lot of money and the household I’m living in isn’t as good. So I decided to abort my baby and the guilt is eating me alive because I couldn’t provide for my baby just yet and really wanted to keep it. But I knew it would be selfish of me to have a kid right now . I really want to be a mother. The father of the child didn’t want to have nothing to do with my baby so that made me want to abort the baby even more. Right now I feel so bad and guilty for even aborting my baby. I know the pain this woman has. And it’s so hard to bounce back together.

The girl with the tattoos described the same situation myself and my girlfriend found ourselves in. We were both in college & only one month from final exams when she found out she was pregnant. It was a very difficult decision but her mother was pregnant when she got married & my girlfriend felt she was letting her family down so she decided on a termination. After a lot of heart searching, I supported her 100% & was there throughout. She had planned to move to another country for a year to gain work experience but after 9 months she decided she was staying & we should break up. This all happened 30 years ago & there isn't a day goes by that I don't think of the decision we made all those years ago. I bumped into a mutual friend that I hadn't met in 27 years, she told me my ex never married or had kids and still lives abroad, that broke my heart as I am married 23 years and have 3 kids. It's never an easy decision & it hits you from time to time, do whatever so you never find yourself it this position, it does mess with your mind.

It's great to finally see the representation of women who don't regret their abortions. Although unwanted pregnancy should be avoided at all costs, it happens for many reasons. But not every woman will choose abortion because she isn't mentally or financially stable, or not where she wants to be in life. Some will make this decision because they don't want to be mothers or don't feel ready. Whatever their reason, some women will regret that they went through an unwanted pregnancy, but not because they had an abortion.

He was born 6 months later to his mothers surprise because she didnt know she was pregnant and that her belly looked too small for her to be pregnant. A small baby boy the size of a 350ml coca cola. His gramma raised him as his mother but its kinda sad that his bio mother died just this january because of ovarian cancer. He knew from the back of his mind that his older sister was actually his mom because from his childhood till teenage years, his sister/mom would always check up on him, hug him, make him breakfast, cuddle with him and sometimes when she hugs him she just cries and keeps saying sorry. Well at least he didn't hate her up until she died and after hearing that story, i immediately backed out on my early morning and late night surprises hahaha xD

So sad. The choice to have children happens before they are conceived. This is the most loving way to go about the choice of having children. This is why one of the 10 commandments is, thou shalt not commit adultery. If you are not ready to be a mother, go to school. Travel. Do what you want to do, but within the safety of Gods Holy laws. If you wait till you are with someone who isn't afraid to stand and commit their life to you. And be by your side, you will have a beautiful experience. God wants to give us a future. Children are a gift from God. No matter what you have done. It's a new start, the opportunity to start life again. Not to think better than the little life in your womb and to pay someone to have this small baby starved, (medical abortion) cut in pieces, (second trimester abortion) or burned alive (saline injection and deliver dead baby in the third trimester) The world is so backwards. It enslaves women to guilt and shame. Time to go back to the future, which is the past. Gods ways are better than our ways. Fornication and murder are much closer together than many realize.

honey, as a mother of 3 - you are NEVER completely ready - whether it's with finances, relationships, education, etc. You are never completely ready simply because you never had the experience. Plain and simple. Having all the money in the world isn't going to prepare you for motherhood, because, simply put, it is not what being a mother is all about. Same goes for education and relationships. People need to really define what it is to be a mother. Yes, I'm no dummy, those things help, without a doubt, but, they don't make you a better mother. So, to say that you couldn't have the baby because you weren't ready, to me, is just plain selfish. Period. Remember this, when you become a mother, you don't truly become a great mom until you've had the experiences of nurturing, caring and loving that come only with time. Just as the saying, "Being a father does not make you a dad", same goes with being a mom, "Being a mother does not make you a great mom". It's the experience you GAIN by doing something.

Oh, not to mention the fact that people are completely uneducated on the topic because abortion is not murder, abortions prevents a human being; doctors they kill the embryo which doesn't have any physical feelings or a conscience, thus, it is not even human yet.

These babies are being killed by those who are meant to care and protect them most. I believe ( though i will check) that rape/ incest ect account for less than 0.5% of abortions in the us. Instead of promoting abortions we should promote sexual education, to reduce abortions. There are clinics out there that provide education and free contraceptives, once someone starts having sex they have to think “I could get pregnant & I dont want that so how can I avoid that”. It should t be an after thought. Getting pregnant results in a life- point blank. If you “arent ready” or mature enough to seek help/information, dont have sex. Simple as that.

There is always adoption but maybe like college student or highschool student who got pregnant might think the baby is going to ruin their life and so they get an abortion instead. But is it really worth it to kill a potential human being just so you can finish college. You can take leave for a years or two to give birth and put the baby up for adoption if you can't take responsibility. It is not easy but to use that excuse to kill a potential human being and not regretting it, is just inhumane and cruel. 3:46, it is not just women that are expected to feel guilty about abortion, every human are expected to feel at least a little bit of guilt and regret for killing a potential human being.

You have been told to drop one. If you truly believe them to be equal then it would be nearly impossible to decide. Another point. I agree it should be legal, but fuck! They want to end the stigma of being so ill prepared and irresponsible that ending the life of the most defenseless being on earth becomes the better option. Forgive me if I think that the stigma is the only thing holding certain people back from killing their child for the sake of their own convenience. If you didn't know, raising kids isn't suppose to be easy or convenient. If every parent waited till they felt comfortbale enough to have a child, I'm willing to bet a large portion of us wouldn't be here. A first time parent isn't suppose to know how to be a parent and that uncertainty shouldn't be an excuse to end a life. Like I said, I think it should be legal until the fetus can live outside of the womb at which point the fetus becomes a citizen with rights, but society as a whole should continue shaming women who choose to end the life that relied on them most. At least the whole "don't fat shame because it hurts people's feelings" argument is based on the concept that their obesity is only affecting themselves (not so much with universal health care though cuz obese people's bills now get picked up by the taxpayers whether they eat a pizza at a time or they've been on a strict diet for years). Abortion not only takes the life of your child, but makes the doctor your accomplice as well so OF COURSE YOU"RE GOING TO BE SHAMED. Use the time you spend complaining about the stigma on making yourself more responsible so that maybe next time you can support the life you brought into existence.

+tarepandaval are you implying that people in other countries don't have sex a lot? Because honey there are statistics on this and let me tell you, we are a horny species. The difference with America is unlike a lot of countries in Europe, we have one of the worst sex education programs of industrialized nations. This leads to a much higher number of unplanned pregnancy and a much higher rate of abortion.

Wow this comment section is either condemning or celebrating the women. I want to say from my own opinion that while In a perfect world, I would not want abortions to ever exist, but the world we live in there may be abortions for rape or when the woman's life is in danger due to the child, there should never be abortions because of someone's foolishness. If you have sex your presenting your self to make kids, and if you get pregnant you have to own up to your responsibility, unless it was forced then that would be my exception,we own our actions and choice and to abort millions of babies because of people not wanting to take responsibility then I am sorry I am pro choice and to be pro choice is to have responsibility.

I am pro choice but I am not for abortions that are not for rape/or health risk to the mother other than that we don't need abortions for people who had one nightstands

People who say it's easy to judge when you have never been in those circumstances forget the fact that it's easy to avoid being in those circumstances. We live in an age of modern, easily accessible contraceptives. I never hear pro choice people talking about those choices. I also never hear anyone who claims to be pro choice acknowledge the fact that abstinence could be a choice.

No contraceptive methode works in 100% of the cases.Abortions are not only done if a woman has an unwanted pregnancy but there are also cases where the pregnancy is dangerous for the woman's life, in which the woman can die if he bears a child. So its woman's decision if she wants to keep the child or not.

@Sup 09 Abstinence works 100% of the time. It’s just like the OP said, for some reason pro-choice people always refuse to see that as an option. They’d just rather pretend like penis-in-vagina sex is some sort of right and whine when sex results in its intended purpose. 🙄 These women already made their ‘choice’ when they choose to have sex. To choose to have sex is to choose to expose yourself to the risk of pregnancy, and by natural extension, parenthood. If you can’t handle the possibility of becoming a parent (no matter how small), then you have absolutely no business having sex.

I have 5 kids all delivered thru Cesarean section. Our 5th child is just a year and a half behind of our 4th. If I thought only about "my" own life , my own comfort, my own pleasures, my own fears, I would have aborted him even if it is illegal in our country. So glad that i was able to choose life for them. We should not be overwhelmed with fear and what the society dictates. Our youngest is now nearly turning six. Let us choose life instead of death, choose hope instead of fear, choose love instead of lust and selfishness. Truly, it is liberating and the joy is deep, not shallow.

So much power to these people. Been there. I didn't know how much I wanted to be a mom until I got pregnant by my abuser. My line of thinking was, "I will not bring a child into this world just for him to hurt that child." I was also 19 and not at all financially stable, college educated like I wanted to be, I was also still an active alcoholic, there were so many reasons. So incredible to hear other's stories. I do not regret my decision at all. I wasn't ready in any capacity to be a mother and I honestly shudder when I think of what my life, and that baby's life would have been like had I not made the right (and very difficult for me, though I knew it was right) decision for myself back then. I would have been tied to my abuser for the rest of my life. I did the right thing for myself, and as strange as it sounds, for that tiny life forming inside of me. Bless.

Not to mention how many people there are out there with terrible tramua and are struggling in a damaged medical system. Be grateful you turned out OK. But not all are so lucky. This isn't your story, you don't have a crystal ball or know the extent of the abuse to look into a future of someone else's life. You don't. If you get pregnant, nobody's forcing you to have an abortion. That is what prochoice means. Don't think your experience is someone else's experience.
