@Ruriko.Y2 жыл бұрын
except for royals & aristocrats. their names has always been very long. it's always their "family name" like megat, nik, wan etc, followed by their name (one or two words) and then their father's name. orang kebanyakan's names at most would be like siti zubaidah bt abu hasan. and that's only if they decided to take up the arabic name. typical malay names would be like adnan b. saidi or jamilah bt ludin 😂

malaysian having moist hand & beautiful nails is a thing!?? i didn't know that. here i am always wondering how in the world foreigners always have dry hand & bad nails. how did you guys let it be to the point it got soo bad got me wondering how did that happen 🤔 😅 also malaysian being like.. showering 2-3 times a day, taking wudhu 5 times a day for prayers, wash hand after using toilet, always wash hand before & after eating, etc.. ummm so..i guess it's water??💧 🚰 🚿
@putinyoutosleep61842 жыл бұрын
I think it's because their countries are cold so their hands are dry. About nails i think they dont like to have very short nails. I notice they have pretty long nails. Here in malaysia we're thought at school to clip our nails short, otherwise we get hit by our teachers. Also cleanliness is very important in islam, and we muslims eat with our hands. So that's why i think malays have nice nails because we always take care of them. But I can't say about chinese and indian

Majority Malaysians do not have a last name but tied their names to their father's. Muslims use Bin (meaning "the son of") for boys or Binti (meaning "the daughter of") for girls. Similarly Indians also use A/L (meaning "anak lelaki" or "the son of") or A/P (meaning "anak perempuan" or "the daughter of"). For example : Ali bin Abu = Ali the son of Abu In Sarawak mostly they use Anak (meaning "the child of") instead Therefore parents are free to give long names to their children but to a certain limit set by the government. Among friends and family we usually give our first name or a shortened one if it's too long haha

I think the main factor of why our hand is moist is because of the high humid climate here, and also frequent hand wash for the people who eat with hands. Also malaysians on average drink a lot of water in a day to avoid dehydration which is inevitable in our climate where we always sweat.
