Just dc fast charged for the first time to test it out. I was tapped into the Electrify America Ultra Fast (350kw) charger. Peak speed was 177kw. majority of the time it hovered around 170kw. I started charging at 14% (38miles) and after 10mins i ended with 41% (118miles). One thing to note; theres a discrepancy between what the vehicle displays its pulling, vs what the stall displays its providing. I have a few photos and short video clips if you want to get a better idea

Great content. Picking up my FOO within only 11 miles on Tuesday and will be driving it 60+ miles home, in California freeway traffic. Compared to my current ICE sedan, sitting idle or driving at a snails pace will no longer irritate me as much.

I cancel my reservation and ended up buying a genesis gv60. Main reason is because of support and maintenance. I wish fisker the best and hope they make it but just too many concerns to take the risk. I traded in my 2018 model 3 BTW.

We opted for a 3 year lease with i4 BMW until Fisker and the US comes up to standard. More chargers are needed. We've come up with chargers all in use too many times. Right now we have a motor car back up.

We have his and her Model Ys. We love them. And they're not boring! What is boring is the Tesla Supercharging experience. Never a problem. It just works all the time. I like boring with my fast charging experience. I'm glad Fisker is joining the Tesla NACS system, but I want access to ALL Tesla Superchargers. My Best Wishes to Fisker. I hope they make it.

I totally agree. We have white M3 and MY. We also thoroughly enjoy the boring charging. I think the Teslas are very good looking, but others disagree. It’s great that Fisker will sign on to NACS. It will allow them to stay competitive. Thanks for sharing, Cheers!

Can you please post Brian’s full video? If he went from silver spring to providence on 1 charge, that is around 400 miles. That’s pretty strong and wanted to validate that. About to lock in my price and validating that range really helps.

Re: Experience Center stating mid '24 delivery for Ultras - Unfortunately, the experience center staff (while VERY excited about the product) aren't fully up to speed on everything. They're much like Chat GPT in that they state everything confidently, but when I was at the Munich location, they made several claims that were verifiably incorrect. The Lounges are great and the staff there have very infectious enthusiasm, but you've got to take anything they tell you with a grain of salt.

It’s pretty crazy that fisker isn’t covering these vehicles when in transport. That’s insane to me. Most “quality” manufacturers cover when in transport so it arrives spotless. Audi / polestar / bmw almost always wrap / cover with white plastic

Good point. I think there’s a massive desperation to deliver the vehicles. You’ve got software engineers delivering vehicles. I’m not trying to justify the lack of care, but delivering an uncovered car is probably better than delivering no car. Thanks for your feedback, Cheers!

Just watched your video - and while I am a big Fan of Fisker and a soon to be customer as my Ocean One has been due to be delivered to me 3 or 4 times. Very frustrating as I have had multiple calls and emails but all the delivery dates have come and gone - Ive been told my car is in Atlanta. I was going to trade my Tesla X but their offer was $11,000 below Carvana's offer so I am not trading - just paying cash - simple transaction but my car has not been delivered - I hope it isn't damaged and that is why it is not here yet. I'm a fan and ready for some challenges but wish they could find a way to deliver it.

Hi, thanks for your videos! I am waiting on my Ocean One in Belgium. it seems that the range in warm conditions is close to what Fisker is promising, but I am worried that in cold weather the range will be considerably lower. Did you get any feedback on that? what are your thoughts?

Great Question: This is a legitimate concern. Your range will definitely decrease in colder temperatures. During freezing temperatures, it’s best to assume 20% range loss in any BEV. The mileage rating is a guess based on standardized conditions. The rating is also not a real world rating. EV batteries like to be between 20 and 35 degrees (c). The further the ambient temperature is from that, the harder the heat pump system has to work. Thanks for your comment, Cheers!

I watched the whole video and there isn't any mention of the solar roof charging. Have i missed it or no one minds how good is it or if it is any good?

Fisker has not provided the software to monitor the Solar Roof yet. Therefore there is no confirmation of when the roof absorbs power, or how much power it can absorb. The section of the menu where that information would be displayed does not exist. I’m so sorry about any inconvenience. Cheers!

You can call service and ask to buy the tow package. No tax credit on the Ocean at the moment, unless it’s under $25k

Great Question: I would search for reviews in your local area for the electrician, then call around to confirm they have experience installing EV chargers. You can buy the hardware you need ahead of time so the electrician doesn’t provide a cheap outlet. If you’re going with a 14-50 outlet, make sure it’s a Hubbell or Bryant brand, as most other budget units aren’t designed to tolerate high current for sustained periods of time. You can skip this step by getting a hard wired EVSE (charger). I recommend the Tesla Universal connector, or the emporia unit mentioned in this video at 19:00 Thanks for your comment, Cheers!

Henrik Fisker, has swallowed a big snake.. Fisker is get so expensive, all feature is only in the ONE model. so the fisker ultra is equaly expensive as the "one" model.. very high price, and i can see the quality is shitty to.. Henrik Fisker shoot him self in the foot in this matter., beat regards. but proberly ok for US marked.
