What's it's like coming home to a mini dachshund puppy

Our miniature dachshund puppy Mac welcoming us home :) Coming home to Mac is always the best! No matter how long we are out, whether it's after a day at the office or just 5 minutes, Mac always welcomes us at the door. I can relate, know the feelings. My baby girl, Chanell does this all the times. She spins in circles, starts crying and howling. It's the best feeling in the world. God had given me a true friend, companion and sidekick in the whole entire world. We eat together, sleep in the same bed, snuggle together, walk and, exercise together. And ever shop together in most stores. In addition, we 🙏 pray together as one little family. She's a heaven Sent.

Thanks! 😊 Mac is usually pretty good about only chewing his toys, but we have to keep our flip flops out of reach. Our apartment is quite small, so we decided not to use a crate on a regular basis. He has his own little hiding spots that work well when we're gone, and we use a travel carrier that he's gotten used to, if we're not at home 🙂

I got something called a dachramp, I think, for mine. It's lovely with a wood frame, it folds flat and sets to 4 heights. Mine has an 80lb wt limit, jic (Marvin is half pitbull and weighs 30lbs, I could have gone with the lesser wt limit). I got 2, they were about $175 delivered. I also got an excellent folding ramp for my car from the same company. Paw (something).

The ramp by the bed has a dark wood frame to match my mahogany furniture. The one for the couch is light wood. The one for the car works best (for us) when set to the back hatch. I have a channel here & could make a video 2 show you, if you like.

Hi Daryn! Mac is just shy of 7 months old. He isn’t usually home for 8 hours alone because we typically work from home. Only one of us has to go into the office a few days a week. When he’s home for a few hours alone though, we typically make sure he’s had a good amount of exercise beforehand and his little hiding spots are ready for him 😄
