LOL Hay Tyler ! I think you may be teaching those Calves that breaking a gate means dad will come and feed us ! but given how short their attention span is that's probably not a problem.... but if they start watching your every move look out ! their not that dumb...in fact their pirty smart ..we had a cow that learned to get out constantly... I think she learned to do it because we would get a coffee can of grain for her so she would follow us back into the pin.... they pick that stuff up really quick.... so we tried something different, to her dismay I didn't give her any grain and gave her a good swat on the butt a few times to let her know I was not pleased..... she quit getting out so often.... finally we hit on the idea of making them want to be in the pin..... that worked no more cows getting out ! by then the fence was so tore up they could just about walk out anywhere.... but horse grain with molasses in it was the key..... they loved it... of course it was only 4 cows too.... those cows could go through alot of grain real quick ! ....
