Well, Dr Anne, for someone who has just been sick, you look great! Seriously! Thanks for the product round-up. I like that you always exercise a healthy amount of scepticism when reviewing skincare products. Greetings from sunny Sydney!

I hope you are feeling better soon Doctor Anne! I'm always so happy to see that you have a new upload. 😉 I am almost 100% Korean skincare now. Sunscreens, lipcerins, serums and make up. You really need to check out Hera's foundation stick with 50+ spf. Amazing product! Too many western companies overcharge for products that are mediocre. I use the Beauty of Joseon eye cream (retinol) on my neck and chest every night and they are looking pretty good. I do red light therapy every day on face, neck and chest too. I've started putting my other red light therapy mask on my tummy for an experiment to see if it would cure internal tummy issues I'm experiencing AND improve the skin on my stomach. I'm 70, never had children and I exercise regularly but my tummy is a bit of mess from weight loss and gain over the years (not more than 25 pounds up or down around menopause ). Honestly I doubt most 70 year olds have a tight and smooth tummy 😆 Is it improving? It does seem to be. I do prep my skin before red light therapy after listening to Bev from Myasama on a few channels. I don't use her serum because to be honest, it's another European product that's over priced in my opinion. I use other antioxidant serums and a probiotic serum. It made sense to me to cleanse, hydrate and apply antioxidants to protect your skin during the red light therapy session. After doing this for 2 months, I am noticing a significant improvement on my belly skin! I would recommend anyone to try this to see for themselves if this therapy is going to be effective for them. If it improves your belly skin, imagine what it will do for your face?!

Thank you for sharing your experiences. And I agree, I doubt most 70 year olds do have tight tummy skin - I surely haven't. I discovered Korean skincare a few years ago and am incorporating quite a few of their products into my routine as I like their approach to gentle treatment.

You look better sick than most people do when feeling fine. 😂 I'm glad you're on the mend. I microneedle at home with my Dr. Pen and a fresh 12-needle cartridge each time. I wash my face and hands with soap and water, and wipe them and the device with rubbing alcohol before applying numbing cream. This has worked very well for me for 4 years. I don't "punch" actives into the skin however. I use a tiny amount of pure hyaluronic acid from Timeless, that's all. I'm afraid of using any other serum while microneedling.

The things you see people do online, like microneedle their Tretinoin into the skin - it is really scary. Which numbing cream do you use?

@@DoctorAnne I use prescription lidocaine and prilocaine. :)

@@DoctorAnne I definitely need something, yes. I use a depth of .75 on my forehead, beneath my eyes and above my lip. But my cheeks, the side of my face and chin take a depth of 1. I don't get any pinpoint bleeding, but I wouldn't be able to handle these needle depths without topical numbing cream. I look a little "sunburned" for the rest of that day, but by the second day my skin looks pretty normal and I wear normal sunscreen and makeup. I often flake a tiny bit on day 4 or 5 but no one would know. And by around day 10 I see significant improvement that keeps getting better for weeks. Of all the things I do to my face, I find microneedling is one of the easiet, least expensive and the most effective.

@@maureengreen8695 I get that you need numbing cream with this depth, I probably would too. I am really excited to see how it works for my personal skin, I have seen good results in others.

Have u tried the SPF The Lab oligo HA essence SPF PA++++ it's really nice , I'm not an spf girl I hate them and I got a GWP with a toner I bought of this SPF used it a few times and went and bought the full size. I have been super intrigued by the One Skin I want to try the eye cream heard they were having this amazing BF deal but yeah if u buy everything it's amazing but you don't get any savings if u want 1 product and that's kinda sketchy that they just don't give u a certain percent off like 25 or 30% deals no u have to keep adding to your cart to get the best savings and I don't like that I mean great if u want to buy it all at one time it's a good deal. Maybe I should have not gone and spent a ton at Allies of skin and Niod first then I would have got the face eye and body cream 😂

Thank you for the recommendation - I am always interested in new sunscreen recommendations. As for the deals - I noticed that too this year, you don't get X% off, but you need to combine things ate unlock deals and that way always end up with more products than you actually wanted to buy. Quite annoying.
