My favorites from this update: box shadow generator, move breakpoint styles, class converter (this one is such a timesaver!), find & replace (another game changer for me), structure helper. Thank you so much for creating Advanced Themer!

The find & replace @1:35:00 is really helpful, but scary too! There is no warning or indication of what / where the value will be replaced BEFORE committing the change. And if there was a mistake made using this, I don't see a way to revert back. You have so many different ways to find values in css and in parameters / controls, I would use one of AT's other methods. But the find & replace method here, without me being able to visually verify EXACTLY what and where the value is going to be changed is 'scary' for me :)

Yea that could be definitely improved 👍

Maxime, this is really amazing. This channel is missing k in front of 807 subscribers :). Do you have any tutorial with all AT features that you recommend or you think we should enable all and then disable some of these if we don't need?

As usual the new features are amazing! But please Maxime, my only resquest to you is to get a better mic 😂 PS: I think the dots that are blue should be green, since the classes in Bricks have a green background.
@HDshrimpkick11 ай бұрын
omg thank you! Please Maxime, I feel bad admitting it but I watch these on mute the recording is really difficult listen to
@AdvancedThemer11 ай бұрын
The problem is not the mic, it’s the user behind it. In AT the class indicators are typically blue. I’m not aware of Bricks using green colors…
@andredkvideo11 ай бұрын
@@AdvancedThemer Sorry you are right. In my version they are green, but the original ones from Bricks they are yellow.

Another amazing release! Love it! Quick thought on the Find and Replace, as part of the process (to make it a little less dangerous), perhaps it can do a find first (with results) and then replace (manually select or select all). I may be over-thinking it and it might be too complex (or the find functionality may exist elsewhere).
@AdvancedThemer11 ай бұрын
I had in mind something similar: a structure preview to highlight the elements that would be affected by the change. A step forward could be clicking on the “active” element in that structure, and that would show the affected settings of that element. Just an idea for now, but worth digging :)
@joachimauster11 ай бұрын
@Maxime: (at 1:50:01) Suggestion: Find and Replace (1234 to 5678) should happen in 2 steps. step 1 shows found elements/classes that are affected and step 2 makes the changes after confirmation. Doing all in one step is blackbox and out of control.

Amazing new features … can’t wait for the new microphone to arrive 🤪 Also, what’s the chance of an “all in one” overview video of all key AT features? Have been back over all the videos many times, but it’s hard to remember which video has which feature and some features are even replaced in later versions.
@JeroenBults11 ай бұрын
yes, it will be. long one I think, but would be great! Hopefully that video will be out soon..... 🙏

Question.. what happens with the grid when using the span option IF at the end of the grid, there is an odd number of items? Like in your example, what if the last row there was only one item?
@AdvancedThemer11 ай бұрын
The last item would still span according to the instructions of the grid, so 1x2 if the last row is our first “pattern” row, 1x1 if the last row is our last “pattern row”. In both cases it would leave an empty space inside the last row.

it's kinda nutty you did all this in a month? only just started vid, but thanks for your work! query loop manager is huge, but i also wonder (and this is a question for myself too) why not use templates for that? i guess to separate the query from the actual design of the rendered content? of course the custom functionality and import is incredible. if we are able to somehow get a version of the AI tool from the CSS within the query builder that could help insert appropriate WP core values? that could be helpful for those who don't even know those values by memory (me) 🙃 or easier, at least a link to where those values are? (sorry to constantly suggest new stuff when u drop a huge release)
@AdvancedThemer11 ай бұрын
You nailed the answer by yourself haha. Typically you want to dissociate the query loop from the design, so you can reuse the inner designs (let’s say cards) in different contexts. Or you would need to create a template for each query loop you create, and insert a template inside a template, which is not super practical. For the query vars, my plan is to add an AI option to generate it automatically. Who wants to do that manually, right? In the meantime, here is the list: codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Query_Vars
