I'm not a Lumion user but thinking about it, does anyone know if you can import camera tracking data into the program? Are there limitations in terms of scene size and memory usage? I assume one can import their own libraries of models into Lumion?

@@Thesketchupessentials Im a big time fan of lumion and im still using lumion 6in my laptop and lumion 9 in my desktop. As they were giving away twinmotion 2019 i gave it a try and now im addicted to their features. At least lumion should focus on adding component,group management and more control over materials.It still lacks proper rubber material and many more. but, lumion stays ahead of others when it comes to delivering realistic images. I like new lumion quick preview feature and overhauled layers function. That building area landscape crop and vegitation brush is a brilliant implimentation.

@@Smikster lumion is not a cheap option and ive been using lumion from 4.5. Never felt bad about it until I recently tried twinmotion 2019.(free) Eventhough it has amazing set of features and control over your model, it fails to give as realistic as images when we compared with lumion.

Still baffles me that there's no way to import your own HDRI. Same with displacement maps, there's nothing special about them and they only give you a small handful to work with.

I'm not necessarily baffled - I have no inside information about this, but I think probably it's Lumion curating the quality of results people get with Lumion and HDRI's - meaning that if they pick the highest quality HDRI's and only allow the usage of those, you're going to get a certain quality of image with every render. Not agreeing or disagreeing, but I can see how that could possibly be a strategy

honestly ,really disappointing with this release...and the last year release as well..think that the software had starting to fall to the old autxdesk type of corporate subscription update each year,very minor type of update..nothing really excited ,the thing they add are something that can be achieve on 8 ,those cannot be done still remain the same,eg interior lighting ,proper reflection etc..now only to upgrade so that not loosing the upgrade price advantage..which just like old autxdesk software business tactic...

Feel how you like, but saying that they didn't add features just isn't true, and you could not achieve the same things in Lumion 8 - Real Skies, Displacement Mapping, a significantly larger model library, Fur, terrain in map imports, etc are all features added in the last 2 versions. You might not like their implementation of those features, but both releases since version 8 absolutely added new features that were way more than "minor"

Hardly - normal maps and displacement maps don't come close to the same result. As to your second comment - seems kind of silly on a video talking about 14 new features to say that there's nothing new. You might not LIKE the features, but there are definitely new features
