Man, I love your channel. Thank you so much for putting up such helpful and informative videos. I recently switched to reaper after building a new pc and looking for something more stable and efficient than ableton and logic and I love it. Besides being such a great daw, I love the community around it too. Good shit man 🤘🏻

Please add a timer to the project you are working on to count your time spent. I know there is a script that can perform this function, but a built-in function would be simply invaluable.

Is there a fast way to patch the track outputs 1 to 1 to the interface? I had to record 128 channels for a Virtual Soundcheck and paching the outputs was a pain...

Whats new Reaper v137.9981: Fixed : users buttered toast falls butter side down everytime. Added : black hole feature : Users can now add their own black hole in their project. Use with caution. Keep size parameter less then plank length . Added : built in brick wall limiter for blackhole function. Probably usless but just hoping to preach caution using BH feature. Added : BPM can now exceed universe busting speed of tree3 beats per minute. (Caution: LFO tempo syncs may act strange when parrallel dimensions open up in project.) I cant wait :) Love reaper !

is there a way to make the current selected track automatically the maximum height of the available screen but ALL others stay their original height?
@Hello-pl2qe7 ай бұрын
Jon I was wondering if you had any problems using manual offset in preferences. I never had problems in the past but now whatever number I try won't adjust the recording buffer offset. I can set and render individual track offset through the track right click monitor button but the overall Daw preference offset isn't working. I'm not sure if some other setting is affecting it?

Hi hi! I am not sure on a video on this is out there (I have not found it yet) can you make a video on rythem correction? (About minimizing Artefacts during stretching, the split at transient and quantizing functions)
@budgetgitarr53517 ай бұрын
I've found that using the global sampler script (look it up) and adjusting the project rate gives a much smoother time stretch with far less artefacts.

Now that UA’s LUNA is out for windows and we know that inside of Luna lays a free vst instrument called Shape, what do you think, is it possible to somehow use it (Shape) within Reaper?
@KinktendoShamecube7 ай бұрын
That’s up to UA, since they’ve intentionally limited LUNA instruments to only work in LUNA. The only workaround that I know is setting the output of the instrument in LUNA to a virtual channel and using the same virtual channel as an input in Reaper to record the instrument’s audio output.

They need to fix midi clock. I’ve tried everything and I cannot get stable clock from reaper, vs any other daw where it’s not an issue
@TonyThomas100007 ай бұрын
Sure wish they would fix the hanging Reaper process that you cannot kill (MS Win).
@exscape7 ай бұрын
When does that happen? Could be a driver issue. I know I had that happen waaaay back, but I haven't had it happen in many years now (possibly 10 years).
@TonyThomas100007 ай бұрын
@@exscape Windows 11 - Reaper 7.15 - AMD Ryzen I know this issue has been reported repeatedly, but this is annoying! When I close a clean session with no plugins loaded, I still have a process that won't release memory (around 185MB) and cannot be killed. I have tried using the TASKKILL command, Process Explorer, Process Hacker, etc. No FX or plugins loaded anywhere. No new plugins have been installed. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Reaper. I also turned off the audio drivers, disconnected my MIDI controllers, etc. On first run, the zombie process is created and refuses to die. Subsequent runs open up another process that closes when you quit Reaper. This definitely seems to be a bug. Hope that the devs can figure it out!
