Could you please tell me, in the custom action you share at 10:03, where I can find the "Console-Select Title Track" and "Insert FX Chain"? Are they some other custom actions? If they are, can you share them too?

These are shown in other videos but I will explain briefly. There are a lot of parts to this and can’t be easily shared unfortunately. “Console select title track” is a made in the sws cycle action editor. The command is “CONSOLE S Titles” (there is a track in my video editing template called “titles”) I saved an fx-chain for the the video processor preset that I wanted to load, then in the fix browser, rt-click the saved fx-chain and choose create shortcut, then cancel. That fx chain can now be added to items or tracks from the action list.

Hello all...New user to Reaper here like 2 or 3 months. Bought the latest version in April.. It is asking if I want the upgrades when I log in. I click yes ans it takes me back to the website to download another version.. Is there a charge every time you get the updates to your existing version? Do you just down load the latest version on what you already have? Thanks for the help.. And loving reaper more n more w/ every new thing to learn..

Please god...Reaper...Do a Harrison Mixbus type template and/or channel strip option. Please. I get the workaround stuff but I mean...MB keeps me around because of that flow but it sucks otherwise.

@@the3mu606 Yes. It just works for traditional style mixing itb. I hate MB otherwise but I literally can mix a session plug in free. Their eqs and comps work well and sound close to hardware.. If White Tie and Reaper could get them to ditch Ardour....GAME OVER FOR OTHER DAWS. I use the WT Imperial theme mostly I just dream of that theme having a channel strip option.

MB is designed for an old school console approach. But as someone who’s spent a lot of time mixing on real analog and digital desks I find that that approach is a good time saver. But I get to be so much more creative with Reaper and do things very differently. Instead of thinking of what I can do with the tools in front of me I get to envision a sound and create my own way of getting there. I appreciate the mixing console workflow and see it’s advantages but would be very hard pressed to see any reason for Reaper to adopt that.
