Northern California does the same with some HOV lanes where it is only an HOV lane during weekdays during the rush hours in the morning and evening, otherwise it's just a regular lane.

My biggest issue with the stadium installations or the interblock carousels is that in a lot of casinos you earn zero points or freeplay, nor can you play off existing freeplay on them. I refuse to play any game where I'm not going to earn some points while playing. I wish more consumers would be aware of this, but I said the same thing about 6:5 Blackjack and triple-zero roulette. So....

I'm with Tim S. If I can't touch real dice and playing cards, why would I want to go back to Vegas. I love the place but paying for parking and resort fees?? Stop nickel and diming us.

One advantage of electronic table games is they allow lower limits. I’ve seen craps games with $1 minimum bets where they still pay off proper odds. This is far better than the live games where minimum bets are often $10-$15 and where a odds bet on the 5 or 9 only pays correctly of you bet and even amount ($10 pays $15, but $11 pays only $16). On the electronic games $1 pays a full $1.50. I’m pretty sure all the Black Jack games pay a full 3-2 on hitting a Black Jack too

#1 I hope you have learned is STAY AWAY from the slot machines. That's not "gambling", it's more like "flushing" your money away. ONLY play games with a very small house advantage like blackjack, (real) craps, and 99%+ video poker.

@@saltlakesnowbunny3051If you are planning a visit to Las Vegas (staying at hotel/casino) I would HIGHLY rec. South Point for a number of reasons (And I think Anthony would agree). Although it is located on Las Vegas Blvd. (the Strip) it is NOT considered a "strip" hotel because it's so far south. Its a nice property with reasonable room rates and some of the best gambling in town. Also, really good "food" specials including a cheap buffet and good steak and prime rib specials. And you will still have a feel of being in Vegas. Good luck.

I know that electronic table games are the future, but that will be the end of my trips to Las Vegas. I shoot craps, and the best part of it is the dealer interaction and the general atmosphere of the table. It's not worth my time to hassle with a 3-hour flight, long taxi lines, overpriced mediocre food, and numerous rip-off fees to sit at a machine and punch in my bets. Admittedly, I am over 55, so I am no longer the desired target demographic for the casino bosses. I'm sure the younger generation, who have not had the Vegas experience I have had, will be fine with it.

I have played 1000s of hands of video poker and NEVER hit a royal the closest I came was at the Gold Coast at the bar I was dealt King, Queen ,Jack,and 10 of Diamonds and a 2 of clubs.I was pretty drunk so I had a cocktail waitress check that I saved the right cards..I closed my eyes hit the deal button and was dealt....a nine of Diamonds so close

In regards to crab legs, I read an article on the matter and it mentioned other waters around the world are producing just fine and will pick up the slack so should be no issues with supply or price.

First of all , only a couple of the buffets left in Vegas have dinner , the rest are only breakfast and brunch ( whatever the f*ck brunch is ) . The Wynn and Caesars are way too expensive for what you get and not worth it , and with the cost of a taxi to get to places like the Palms you will end up paying more than it's worth . With no reasonably priced dinner buffets left , I recently cancelled my Vegas trip . I tried to get a dinner reservation for (one person ) at many restaurants and LOST VEGAS OFFICIALLY told me I was not welcome . If you are going to Vegas by yourself , you are OFFICIALLY NOT WELCOME . There is a story for you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not coming back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those stadium games don't make enough money to justify taking live dealers away from actual table games. Interblock made some shady deals to get their machines into the casinos. Everyone in the industry knows how bad Interblock machines are, very unstable.
