What's New in the Cataclysm Classic Pre-Patch?

With Cataclysm Classic's release now only a matter of weeks away, coming on May 20th, the pre-patch for Cataclysm Classic is due to release in World of Warcraft Classic on April 30th. The pre-patch for Cataclysm Classic brings a host of changes to World of Warcraft, from class talents to the world revamp. As a result, there's a lot of changes coming in the pre-patch itself prior to the full expansion release. So, what are the new changes that the pre-patch for Cataclysm Classic brings? Let's find out.

So, I didn’t get well. I already done the quests pre patch of troll to get toy etc (those one are specular of gnome with). And I have a Orc shaman boosted at 80 (of corse 🙈) by the blizzard epic pac. So there are many many quests I didn’t are target for my level but of the previous expansions. I would like to do the cataclysm pre-patch contents. Are there some quests specific or events to do with my caped characters?

Its little sad, that old world again will be gone. I really hoped that they will add chromie and we could choose where we want to level, on old or new world.

Anyone know if new hunter pet tames will be coming with pre-patch? Same question for if pets will be tamed to our level if they're below us

I wanna replay cata since i missed that expansion back in the day. But can i know already lvl a toon? and were do i start? do i start on classic or on the lich king classic servers? is that then toon transferred then to cata when the patch goes live? or do i have to wait till cata goes live?

If you start a character on Classic Wrath of the Lich King servers, these will then automatically change to Cataclysm on 20th May!

I will answer myself: "In a follow-up Q&A session, Blizzard confirmed that the Wrath Classic servers will be completely replaced by Cataclysm when it goes live."

just wondering how bliz will handle the dungeon+/++/+++ system, since in wrath it just gave you 10man raid loot. But in cata raids only have 2 sets of loot (normal and heroic) that drop in both 10 and 25man.

If they add gamla dungeons may be it drop some gear in between dungeon-raid gear. Or maybe they just will release raid gear of the previous normal raid modes by looting the last boss of each dungeon.

I would assume so - only issue I can potentially see is recently saw (on EU) some servers are "locked" which might affect faction changing, if they're attempting to balance factions like in SoD. But I think you should be fine doing that!

Im curious about your comments at 5:16, theres no indication we will have to wait for world flying as its already live on beta, and also there are currently no guild leveling systems on beta - all players are granted the guild buffs in their spell books.

The only separation is that it isn’t listed under the pre-patch information, and just under the main-release information. But again like I said in the video, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s added in despite not specifying!

For the longest time all I played was warrior and rogue, and dabbled in every other class, but in wrath classic I went full force into dk, and I think for cata I’ll keep playing a dk but blood instead of frost. Or maybe just another warrior lol

Pretty sure you can’t, unless there’s a way to get into Gilneas, as the worgen starting zone is like a mini-storyline.
