I'm sorry that illness is slowing everything down! Each person is different, but it could be that list-making would be helpful, as long as the list doesn't get out of hand. List-making is an anxiety-specific action that helps get things out of your short-term memory. It can lighten your internal load. It might help to have different short-term, mid-range, and long-term lists instead of putting everything on one big list that would feel oppressive. If there's anyone who supports you, it can also be helpful to have them be involved in the list-making so that two minds are working on the situation. I hope that the situation evens out, and that you have the support you need.
