I noticed recently that I was angry about being angry and only thought then what a contradiction. I hope I can learn more about emotions and have full emotional range !

Great listening, we are so much more, than just those feelings emotions we cant stand in others or ourselves. And they sit in body soul and is needed to have a release, otherwhise, they lock us in, or create hard parts in body or psyche. Thank you for your Wisdom, it is so needed out in our numbed world of today

These are all such great points! But, what are some practical exercises to keep thinking more positive instead of swirling down the negativity trap? I feel like I had a few great moments that lasted for a while, but then I always end up being insecure and self defeating. It's baffling to me how although I got in that place of empathy and creativity before I just can't get back to it whenever I want to. By the way, your video on how all emotions are beautiful stuck with me since I first watched it about a year ago. I realized fear is such a beautiful emotion because unlike any other it just tells us that we're alive. All these emotions need empathy, but it's just so hard to always be in that place. Thank you so much for your work! x

Hello Venus. Sorry not to answer sooner -- KZbin stopped sending me notifications! Each emotion has a message and a purpose, and feelings of insecurity and defeat have something to say. You can find a free Emotional Vocabulary List to identify which emotion you're feeling, and then watch the video on that emotion, or read up about it on my site. Here's the list: karlamclaren.com/emotional-vocabulary-page/ Your own emotions are the key to your healing; learn their language, and they can help you change your life for the better. Really.

@@EmotionDynamics That is true! Your channel has impacted me a lot. Also being in therapy and journaling helped, along with other resources. But the idea that emotions shouldn't threaten, but help us is brilliant. We don't feel sad or angry for no reason and sometimes not because of ourselves! We've got to follow our hearts and do the hard work on making the changes in life that will take us to where we can feel more joy, peace, strength and inspiration than sorrow and frustration. It's all about proportions, not about the emotions themselves!

I had frozen shoulder in both shoulders a year apart from each other. I've not gotten my range of motion back and it has been a few years. I'd love to know how you did it.

Hello Alice. Sorry not to answer -- KZbin hasn't been notifying me abut comments! The Gohkale method has really helped, and I did range of motion in pools and rebuilt my shoulder strength that way. i find water workouts to be the best by far. You can get muscle strength back without injuring your joints!
