Didn’t pass 2 sections on my first try. I felt so discouraged. Tried again and I passed 🥳 each individual score went up 12-20 pts!! Thank you Nurse Cheung!! Your videos have helped me so much! To pre-nursing students: watch the videos, write the notes, DO PRACTICE PROBLEMS! If you’re retaking TEAS look over your TEAS focused review. Feeling so grateful ❤️

Wow, congratulations on passing and on those incredible score improvements! 🥳 It's so inspiring to hear about your journey, especially how you bounced back after the initial setback. Your determination and hard work really paid off, and I'm thrilled to hear that the videos played a part in your success. Your advice to pre-nursing students is spot on. Engaging deeply with the material through videos, notes, and especially practice problems is such a crucial part of preparing effectively for the TEAS. Revisiting areas for improvement, as highlighted in your TEAS focused review, is also a great strategy. Thank you so much for sharing your journey and for your kind words. I'm beyond happy for you and wish you all the best as you move forward into nursing school! ❤️

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't hit your target score this time, but it's great to see your determination to try again and your positive attitude about improving. Given that you have just a week until your next attempt, focus intensely on the areas where you scored lower, particularly math and science. Since these are your toughest subjects, consider concentrating on the foundational concepts and key problem types that are likely to appear on the test. Quick review sessions using videos, especially those that helped previously, can reinforce these areas effectively. Even though time is short, your ability to identify specific areas for improvement and apply focused revision strategies can make a significant difference. Stay motivated, manage your study time wisely, and keep a positive mindset. You've got the resilience and resources to boost your score. Good luck with your next attempt-I'm rooting for you!

I recently took it and currently taking a&p2 as well this semester. I highly recommend going over chemistry and scientific reasoning more than a&p2 .... i felt like there were only 5 questions on a&p2. I failed overall by 2 points

The best way to study is to take as man6 practice tests as you can and research your weaknesses. I used mometrix practice tests and nurse cheongs test on her Etsy! Got an 82 today and I attribute it to this study method

@@lifewithkat7633 I think maybe it felt like that... but its pretty standardized and there are 18 A&P, 9 Biology, 8 Chemistry and 9 Scientific Reasoning questions. So while you could focus on the 3 other areas.. A&P is still 41% of the questions in that section.
@NurseCheung
@NurseCheung 3 ай бұрын
I totally understand how overwhelming it can feel, especially with your exam on the horizon and juggling A&P 2 at the same time. First off, take a deep breath. It's okay to feel this way, and you're definitely not alone in the struggle. Here's a more friend-to-friend approach for tackling your studies: Break it Down: Instead of looking at everything you need to study as one huge mountain, break it down into smaller, more manageable sections. Set specific goals for each study session. Find Your Rhythm: Everyone has times of the day when they're more focused. Find yours and schedule your toughest study sessions then. Mix It Up: Since you're also taking A&P 2, try integrating some of that material into your TEAS prep. There's likely some overlap, and it can help reinforce what you're learning in class. Practice Tests: If you haven't already, try doing some TEAS practice tests under timed conditions. It can really help with getting a feel for the pace you need and identifying areas where you need more review. Remember, you've already come so far, and you're capable of more than you think. Take it one day at a time, and trust in the work you're putting in. You've got this, and I'm rooting for you all the way to Feb 29th and beyond! 🌟📚💪

So do you fail sections and retake that specific section over or do you fail the entire test once you fail any section
@NurseCheung
@NurseCheung 3 күн бұрын
For the TEAS exam, if you don't achieve the required scores in any section, you typically have to retake the entire exam, not just the sections you didn't pass. Each nursing program might have specific scoring requirements, so it's a good idea to check the details with the program you're applying to. They'll provide the specifics on how they want you to handle the test, especially regarding minimum passing scores for each section or the overall exam.
