Awesome to see you back! If I may ask you a question about the awkward stage. When you were in the stage of your channel where you wore a beanie most of the time, did you ever experience your hair curl upwards at the ends? I don't mind it personally but everyone tells me its something you just gotta wait for and let it grow out. I was curious if you ever experienced that. To add more context, the only hair product I use is a hair oil at the moment but I intend to get a texture spray or matte paste.

hi, I've grown my hair out (still have long hair) and i also used a beanie during the awkward phase and yes my hair did also begin to curl upwards near the ends. that being said i have wavy/ loose curly hair which i didn't realise till i grew my hair out so I'm not sure if that was a contributing factor or not. hope this helps :)

@@princeali622 no that's you hair type. So I'm guessing you have wavy hair like mine. My advice would be to let it grow out and don't try force it to be straight or else it could end up looking frizzy. Just embrace it and it will naturally start to look great. I thought my hair was pretty straight like my mums but turns out it's loose wavy and some parts curly like my dad's. Also, in terms of products the best thing to do is just experiment and see what works and doesn't work for your hair. Everyone is unique. Hair loss I would deffo recommend, the curly/wavy hair for me doesn't really need texture spray so haven't used that. I've used matte paste paste while growing my hair out but these days I don't really use it no more. I've moved on to using hair mousse as it provides both volume and enhances the curls/waves and give the sleek, thick black look to my hair. And when I tie it to a man bum I sometimes use a wax stick to quickly stick some of the fly aways.
