I bought my 3DS at launch and loved it from the start. Right now I play mostly modded DSi XL as DS titles look better there than on the 3DS but I do have a modded 3DS XL and modded New 3DS XL...

On my modded 3ds, I can play super Nintendo games with some lag. N64 games are where the real difficulties come in

Depends on one of countless Factors from wifi your using, Malware that's following you, where you're getting the roms, if the roms you're using on it are CLEAN and if there is any Localized Interferences For a Random Funfactor 3DS roms you get from HMart are can be altered Variations I've Noticed differences in content of Dialogue in a few roms from Hmart Such as Ever Oasis

You should not have lag playing snes games. 3ds is much more powerful

My 3ds is an original model from one or two years after it was launched so there's no hardware revisions at all. It also isn't the "new" 3ds
