However, do not expect to play anything even slightly modern at such a high resolution on a Steam Deck. It will do 1080p okay, but nothing higher.

GTA V is amazing on steam deck... except now it's no longer playable. The biggest issue with the steam deck isn't even because of valve or the steam deck, it's because of anti-cheat, non-linux compatible games and anti-consumer decisions made by publishers. Such a shame, buck luckily it's only a select few games, and the majority of the games are games I would never play anyways.

DAMN, I can't even imagine my devastation over any of my precious stuff getting stolen 🙈 I feel ya. But in that case you might as well give the new Steam Deck a shot for the better WIFI, screen and battery life that it offers. But if you still had your old one I'd have advised you to just keep it at that since the differences aren't THAT major after all. I have the OG Steam Deck myself and am still thoroughly enjoying it. If it holds up another few years I'll just jump straight over to Steam Deck 2 to make the purchase worthwhile.

I have a Steam Deck, i love it because it was my first introduction to PC gaming and the best i could get. There are problems, to this day, i have some weird problem with the internet where it just doesn't download at full speed it can and 5g internet just stops working for no reason which is annoying when i want to download a big game (which i often do). I have an LCD model that i bought some time ago so it might be an issue with my device instead of Steam Deck in general. I might buy Steam Deck OLED so it probably would help with few things i don't like (internet issues, loud fans cause i'm so sensitive to sound and don't use headphones, battery life... That's all my problems with Steam Deck tbh also bugs but that's software wise)

@atomicfir32 ай бұрын
Steam deck isn’t the best choice for xbox game pass since it natively runs their own version of linux. Maybe look at the rog ally but beware that the Z1 and Z1 Extreme both will destroy your SSD cards.

@@atomicfir3 I’ve seen people boot into windows on the steam deck if I did this would it be possible to play Xbox games?

@@pimpnamedkane you could but it just significantly decreases performance and then you also have to work with windows on a handheld… so no more “turn on and play” and be right where you left off.
