Hi Sharmon, Congratulations with that albino prickly cockle! Another albino shell for the collection!😍 I really love all those critters, especially the little hermit crabs, they are so cute. I've been searching for that mystery shell from 16:10 but unfortunately I haven't found the name so far. And did you see that you missed a wentletrap at 4:36? 😱 it was on your left. I started screaming at the screen, but you didn't hear me. 😂 Never seen a fallen angel wing, that's so much fun when I'm on a beach walk with you; every time you find something new. So I'm very curious what you're going to find in next week episode. Can't wait! Your video's are really the highlight of my week. It takes my mind of for 30 minutes, no hospital, chemo and pain. I love every minute of it! Thank you so much for making these videos, and taking me and all your followers with you on your adventures! 💙 I hope you have a wonderful week, wishing you all the best! Big hug and lots of love, xoxo ❤️, Ilona

Yes, you a bunch of other eagle eyes people saw that wentletrap. I didn't even see it when I was editing the video since I was so enamored with that little crab 😅 And someone helped me ID that one mystery shell as a beautiful crassatella. So excited to add another shell to the repertoire! And I'm happy to give you 30 minutes of restorative beach time. You just concentrate on fighting the good fight 💪🏻. I'm sending you hugs and sunshine and strength from Florida! 🌴🌊🐚❤️

Wow Judy! I can only imagine the collection you must have! We have a fantastic variety over here and since our surf doesn't pound the shells they way the surf on your coast does, a bunch of them arrive on the beach intact. I have a friend that allows me to park at the south end of FMB, so I don't review the parking situation as much since I kind of have a short cut. There is off-street parking down there on Gulf Drive and Flamingo, however there are only a few spots there. It's the trickiest parking of all the beaches I visit. I wish there were a big lot down there to park but I'm also kind of glad since it keeps the "crowds" to a minimum without great parking access.

@@SWFBeachLife we are back home in IN after a wonderful four months at FM and did frequent walks on lots of the area beaches. There are lots of parking areas along FMB but they get filled up fast (especially during the crazy busy months) and the cost is $5 per hour. We love parking at Newton Beach or Bowditch Park but often times turned away since every space was full. I'm glad you have a great parking connection! And thank you for the FMB video, I'm a little homesick for a beachwalk!

Love that albino prickly cockle - so pretty!! I'd like to know the name of that shell with the little stripes... if you find out maybe you can revisit that in a future video. I thought the fallen angel wing was so interesting. I've got a trip planned to Sanibel for May 27 - June 3, and I'm so excited to finally be getting back there after 3 long years!! I'm going to start reviewing my shell books to brush up on some of those less common ones and help me get my eye "tuned in" to spotting them. Do you give all your patreons a shout out or just some that give a certain amount? Can't wait till next week to see what else "we" find! These shelling videos have really helped me last (mentally) until I can get back down there. Happy shelling!

Sometimes the egg casings will dry up on the beach with the baby snails in them, so if you get lucky you might be able to see the itty, bitty tiny shells in there. YES!!! Tampa Turrid, I just discovered them in January 2021, managed to get two plus one in April 2021. I display them with my few Wentletraps and they are gorgeous. Great variety of little shells this week. I especially enjoyed the different Angel Wngs, wonderful to see them in one video. Thank you for another fabulous beach walk!

The smaller shells are so much harder to ID, but boy when you do it's pretty fun! I'm hoping to hone my tiny skills and I definitely need more practice. I missed a wentletrap that quite a few other people spotted around 4:36. Oy!

Thank you again for your beautiful beach walk. It was exiting to see that cormorant. That bird also lives here in Northern Norway, here we call it Skarv. My dad one’s took a picture of one while it stood there and dried it’s wings… And also existing to see all the tinis you found and that beautiful albino Pricly cockle so gorgeous. I really look forward to the next beach walk❣️Thank you Sharmon

Fascinating about the cormorant! I know lots of the birds that live here also reside in other parts of the world but I didn't consider just how far away some may live. Thank you for sharing that! I'm getting a bit more interested in those tiny shells so I'll be hunting them down this summer while the larger shells are hiding!

I love your videos! I also absolutely love the fact that you took a trip through the everglade mangrove. The everglades is my favorite place on earth. Try going on a clear night. The amount of stars you see is amazing! Also, surprisingly you can find big and beautiful apple snail shells all over and purplely clam shells by the canals.

The day we went to the Everglades boat ride was absolutely gorgeous. Big, white puffy clouds and the water was like glass so it reflected the clouds - it was so pretty! And I know a spot to get apple snails near where I live so in the dry season I can get 100's of them! I already have so many I don't need to find any more 😅

You really are a "shell whisperer"! They love you!😊 Congrats on the fallen AW! My guess on the mystery shell at 16m is a spectral bittersweet. The shape is a bit more pointed, but that might just be an anomaly. We get a lot of beautiful buttercups here. Some are really brilliant. 2 albino PC's the same day!!😁 Good catch on the blood ark! I've probably seen them and didn't pay much attention... Love "Morse code"!😂 Looking forward to next week! xxoo

There are a few more arks I've kind of been looking for - the eared ark, the incongruous ark and the transverse ark. Happy to have finally found a blood ark and crazy that these silly shells all look so similar! And the mystery shell is a beautiful crassatella. I can't wait to find other mystery shells as well as some of the more common ones I can't seem to find! Hope you have a fantastic week!
