What's quicker - manual calculations (and their resulting callbacks), or measureQuick?

Great Program. It will make any tech better. Everyone wins. Actual airflow is the critical weakness that needs to be measured somehow. The True flow tool looks to be the best and fastest airflow solution. Finding the Ak for the system grilles or the Pressure Drop across the evaporator both require data from the manufacturers. It takes research and effort to find the info you need... If you even can. For older system and off brands...Good Luck!

Amen!!!! I keep saying this to those at my company. I bet you these commenters are still using a map book to get around. Both work, one is clearly more conviemant and faster. Embrace the technology. I just used the duct pressure quick test! It’s awesome. I don’t have a TFG yet so I can only use the fan curves, my question is will MQ use the SCFM estimated values to input to the quick test ?

We were not going to as it is an estimated value and not an actual measure. We have that estimated airflow really dialed in, but it is still estimated and requires the equipment to be operating reasonably well.

I'm not boosting or hating either view, but to be fair, a fold up map can do things your phone app could never dream of. They both have their strengths and weaknesses and they don't cross over. You have to pick one. Nothing is ever 100 percent. There's no reason to disparage anyone UNLESS they are just being stubborn or closed minded AND their method comes up short for a particular application and they refuse to try.
