The haters (who are the same haters (mainly fans of other idols) who hated on her before Crazy Horse) spammed up Weibo and social media with demands for "punishment" of Lisa. They just saw the Crazy Horse thing (a performance they literally never even saw) as an opportunity to once again try to start a hate campaign to get Lisa cancelled. The Weibo account was voluntarily withdrawn by the account owner so that the haters wouldn't keep spamming it with their deranged, lunatic hate comments. The haters then created the talking points (less diplomatically speaking...the lies) about her being banned and punished by the government. Those things never happened. True. Once you become successful in Kpop, there's not much room to grow and branch out...as long as your focus remains on Kpop. It's a template and formula. The Kpop companies are all basically following similar formulas that they stick to religiously. Even the "idol" concept is standardized. You appear on certain types of Korean TV shows, you get certain kinds of brand endorsement deals, and if you are in a group, you get a very limited number of "solo" projects and so on.

Clearly not everyone will become popular the same way - but if any of them were Blackpink and produced by YG and propped up and marketed like BP, then yes they would’ve been far more popular. Was anything Lisa achieved possible without YG/Korea? No. Would China Japan even have given a random Thai girl (before Lisa and BP) any chance to debut and promoted them like the way Kpop/YG did? No they would not. Would Lisa have even been popular if she debuted and worked in Thailand? No. Stop denying the reality.

Personally i have never seen yg push lisa as much as the other members. I dont hate anyone but this is just what i have noticed. Lisa really blew up after her Coachella performance many. I remember many people asking for who the girl in ponytail was. Also the fact that she fits really well to the western beauty standards helped her a lot. But i personally feel her success came from her stage presence and passion. I really started liking her after i saw her dedication. Like any stage she always gives a 100%.

I can only say one thing! Koreans don't deserve Lisa! And the company simply did not treat her fairly. Now yg wants to make a second Lisa (Chiquita). After the mega popularity Lalisa , they brought a double of Lisa from Thailand and also taught her turnips! Yg couldn't love or protect Lisa and wants to make another Lisa just for money! I think Lisa also needs to sue them and take all the money they took from her! But I know that Lisa will never do that because she is already very used to them and loves them, even they don’t deserve it. What can we do, our Lisa is so kind and forgets everyday life! Do leave Chiquita out of it though she is literally a kid..14 if not 15 yrs old. I for one hope she is well protected both legally and physically. I am sure Chiquitas family reached out to Lisa for advice. I did see somewhere all 3 families in a picture together. YG held Lisa from making new business in freedom from YG till the resolution of the YG contract, YG always held Lisa from spreading her wings and leave because it was detrimental to YG, at the end YG got all 4 to sign for group activity, but gave them freedom, YG was not concern with other 3, YG knew they will sign as soon as Lisa accepted, but when they give up, Lisa was not committed gave jen the greenlight and jisoo Rosé was already to sign with YG and go with Black Label.
