I've been PC gaming since I was 14. I'm now 38. In all those years of gaming, I have never played a game as much as Hunt. @mistercrow19832 жыл бұрын
@@Dodanos1Rust has been on my radar for a long time, but I've never actually played it. From what I can see, Rust isn't really very similar to Hunt. Hunt is more a tactical FPS with PvE elements. There's no base building or crafting in Hunt. I would compare Rust more to 7 Days to Die than Hunt. Hunt's on 55% sale on Steam at the moment if you want give it a try. You can always refund it if you don't like it :)

Only game tbh that ever hooked my to such a degree as Hunt has is goddamn Minecraft xD But while Minecraft tickles my creative side in just the right places. Hunt envokes a sort of killer instinct within me. The best thing about hunt is that everything that happens to you is your own fault. No circle pushing you into a bad tactical spot, no lootluck determines your game. It is all on you, if you push or circle around the enemy, how you gather Intel and how to react upon, if you kill ai now to get rid of them or crouch past them, if you rush to stop someone extract or you decide to just leave them, keep your hunter and try again next time. Your decisions, your consequences, the greatness of hunt.

Its on you when you can kill someone, then literally having the thought that hes dead and start looking for his buddy than dying from that same guy, thats already dead, 2-3 seconds later. Its on you if you wanna go up a ladder or a staircase and get d synced into oblivion, which cause your death. Thats on you. Its also on you when your caldwell shotgun doesnt kill with two sr8 shots within 8m when the killshot range for one shot is 12m. Two sr8 shots, full pellets in the enemy twice from 8m and no kill. Thats on you. Great game.

No game can give me the gamer shakes as bad as hunt. When both of your friends get downed and knowing that they are both watching you. Its nerve-wracking, but when you clutch up and kill the enemy team and your friends are amazed there is no better feeling. So many different situations play out in your head as you are in a gun fight "should I push with my shotgun?" "should I stay back and hold this angle?" "should I run across this path even though I know the enemy is watching but hope I run sporadically enough that they will miss their shot?" The best part of this game in my opinion is that its not frustrating. In tarkov when you go against someone with lvl 5 armor and helmet its almost impossible to kill them with a lower lvl gun and ammo, but you don't want to risk bringing your best shit and dying. In Hunt, you die? oh well buy a new hunter and run it back. Hunt is my favorite shooter to play with friends and I highly recommend it to anyone that has a PC.

best review of hunt i ever saw! 1000hrs in i still have fun and still each match is a thin red between win and fail. hope more people get into the game and stay motivated beside the frustation it can bring. sadly some of my fellow hunters dropped out or always stop playing after one or two unsuccessfull rounds. but if you get the vibe and you find your playstyle you can have an amazing experience disregarding the outcome of a round. so in conclusion there is one thing i like to add to this review: i think, hunt is a game which is more appeling to an aged and more grown up audience (who are probably repelled by the coboys vs zombie setting at the begining) because it wants patience, thought and sweat from you. most other fps/br/pvp-games feel shallow and in other ways stressfull afterwards.

I bought at full retail death stranding, cyberpunk, watch dogs legion. Then I added Hunt Showdown to my wish list on steam, 2 weeks later they offered it to me at £17.99. None of the “AAA” titles have been loaded since. 1000 hours in and still soaking up every last detail of this masterpiece. All of this fine review is accurate and they don’t even go into just how stunningly beautiful this game is, I’ve literally gasped as I ran through the cornfield into the sunset and almost felt cold as the sun has been partially blocked in the dense woodlands, simply stunning. I told a friend who is new to pc gaming to get it and this is his response: “You might as well given me crack”. The audio puts almost every other game I’ve played to shame. Binaural audio makes positioning via earphones amazing, but be warned, once you’ve experienced audio this good there’s no going back to the run of mill shooters. Hunt is probably the most underrated game of all time. Buy it, play it, understand why it’s so good.

As someone that really enjoys Rogue-Like games and the "Well, I just lost 2 hours of my life's worth of progress. Time to go again!" style of gameplay, combined with methodical gameplay where you have to think and act on the fly, or carefully depending on the situation, Hunt has always been a game that I knew I would love, but a game that kicks my ass. Im not exactly great at the game, I tend to dance around MMR 3-4 stars, touched 5 star once and was smout back down to pleb town where I belong, but I don't care most of the time when I get killed when I learn something, I know what I can do better, or I just died like an idiot and end up laughing at myself. I can't tell you how many times I have wiped a quarter of the server, only to die in the final stretch and get nothing, but still pat myself on the back for a job well done, or on the off chance that I survive, have to step away from my computer so I can release all my pent up stress. This game feels so damn good to win in, because like rogue-likes, when you win, you earned that win, even if you didn't to any impressive stunts, it's your win, and you can take a lot of pride in each surviving hunter. Simply put, I love winning in this game, I love how the game teaches you via blunt force trauma from time to time, I just love this game.
@Bullet.2 жыл бұрын
I love the feeling of taking a surviving hunter back in for round 2. It’s like a bigger bet - There’s more on the line, but your traits give you an edge. Another great example of Hunt raising the stakes over time.

Chills man, chills. You captured everything Hunt is, and why it is so incredibly amazing. My highschool friend got me into Hunt back in late 2020/early 2021. I briefly played it back in 2018 but stopped soon there after. Sadly, he doesn't play Hunt right now. I don't think he has quit, maybe he's just taking a break I don't really know. But after playing a lot with him and others, I got to experience what this game truly is and what it offers. As of today I'm hooked, I'm ADDICTED. Even though when I get screwed over by A.I or get unfairly headshotted out of nowhere, I just can't stop playing and this video perfectly captures the reason for it. As you said, it is extremely underrated. Great video!

What i love about hunt is that aim isn’t the most important factor of the game at all. Unlike cod, where if you don’t constantly get headshots immediately your dead, in hunt due to the western era weapons and opportunity to escape when under attack, positioning has a much greater focus. I’m not the best at twitch shooters, so this genuinely feels so much more rewarding.

I have ~600 hours on hunt (split between console and pc). To add on, the gameplay and mechanics at times feels restricted, BUT you have freedom. You have a goal to hunt or be hunted. You can enter and leave the map anytime you want as long as you make it to the extraction. Using voice chat has a limit where you have to be close by to chat, but you can communicate and listen to enemy players to prepare and listen for a plan or communicate and team up for an alliance on the battlefield... or have fun and dick around like a medkit fight. And my personal favorite, you need money (hunt dollars), but have the freedom of customization to your own fun and challenge: All in on explosives, corcentina bullying and chaos, melee only, sniping, and go in naked (equip nothing or just a medkit). It feels nice because of the variety you can do in a game.

I tried to play a couple of matches, and it was so unusual and so hardcore that I thought I couldn't play. This made me search for a video of the game on KZbin, but still my best tactic in the first 10 hours was "a rat sits in the bushes and begs not to be seen," ahahah. Hunt has an incredible community. I think that the people who play Hunt are completely different people, not those who play other online shooters. There is a voice chat in Hunt, and your voice is part of the game sounds, like shooting or the creaking of window shutters, and not just a virtual one that can only be heard by your team. So you can chat with other hunters, cheat and cheat, negotiate or ruin the whole match by giving out your place ahead of time, ahaha.

Unfortunately I've already played since the beta for about 200 hours because the way you're telling this game's story would have forced me into the bayou. Awesome video!

Classy video dude. My mates started playing it last week and they were at me to pick it up while it's on sale. Searched to get a feel for it and got your vid. Thoroughly enjoyed, I'm subbing. Look forward to seeing what u cover in future

Thank you much! If there’s one thing I really want my videos to accomplish, it’s to give people a real feel for the game I’m covering - I’m glad you dig it!

Superb work as usual Bullet. You may not review games that I particularily enjoy but you really do have a way on selling games. Script flow is incredible, visual and audio work is fantastic, and your ability to make a video seem lengthy but in a good way is top notch. Never a dull moment. Keep up the good work bro.

"Audio is much more than just immersion here, It's intel, more so than any other game I've played" Have you ever played Thief 1 and Thief 2 games? 24-22 years old games, buddy. By the way, you're so talented as a reviewer, I really enjoyed this video. I predict a bright future to this channel, keep it up!
