We just got back from our fireworks display and are now watching DC NYC and San Diego on TV 🇺🇲 I tried to get into The Streets before.. I'll try again ! Interesting about Yoko's release and especially important that she doesn't sing ! 🤔

Most important! It was a hot 4th here. Our local fireworks 💥 celebration always goes on just a little too long for me.🙂

Couldn’t agree with you more about Yoko’s voice. Bless her heart for trying. I’ll have to look into her writing ability to decide for myself as I’ve never explored her as an artist. Great song from The Streets! Mingus is always a treat! Thanks Mark! Hope you had a great 4th.

Glad you enjoyed The Streets, Steve. Mingus was always inventive with his playing. Proceeds from Ocean Child support WhyHunger.

Asking me to fall in love with Ono is a big ask Mark, in fact it strikes fear in my heart. The Streets had a nice laid back feel to it

Don’t be scared Steve, just take it one track at a time🙂 with that being said, I realize it’s a big ask.

I don't think I have ever heard the Streets track before. Your Yoko comments made me chuckle. That record might be worth a look 🙂

I am not familiar with The Streets, and I liked that track. I'm with you Mark: Yoko Ono deserves more appreciation. I actually have some of her solo lps. She's like what, 90 now? Unbelievable. 😎🎶

Hi Ed,Yoko has definitely lived a full life. The years that she spent with John served her well. Mike Skinner’s vocals are a bit of an acquired taste, not for everybody. His storytelling cracks me up.
