I was there for the 2nd Gelsenkirchen concert. from 17 to 70, people from all ages went mad over their performance. Angus Young killed it with his Solo. I can't believe how a 67-year-old has got so much energy. He jumps, he kicks, he enthrals!! Long live AC/ DC !!

I was there too...and i left after about 45 minutes. I have seen ACDC about 15 times in my life but this time the venue has let them down. Maybe ACDC have played their arse off... but you simply couldnt hear them in most parts of the Arena. It was only a droning cacaphony ... you cant blame the band for that. Whatever concert you want to visit, dont do it at Gelsenkirchens Veltins Arena ! BTW Angus is 69 not 67

@@stefansikora5183 I wonder who's idea it was to close the roof of the Veltins Arena... You really cant be that dumb to do that, of course there are sections where the sound gets basically cancled out! Feel so bad for those ppl in Gelsenkirchen. :( I was at Hockenheim this weekend and IMO the sound was great and damn loud tho! There was some issues with the mic 3 or 4 times but only a matter of a few seconds. So really nothing bad tho. IMO the concert was worth every cent at the Hockenheimring.

@@ershn8d Had "bad sound" in München last year at the Rammstein concert, it was very quiet, but have to say: I was at the highest point of the grandstand and the furthest away. I dont think that the roof above the grandstand is designed to support the sound of a concert cuz the whole stadium wasnt really designed with concerts in mind, since the use was for sport events and therefore the sound comes from cheering fans, so they path the sound takes ist actually the opposite way. But thats just a theory of myself so I dont know if thats a thing

I think the reason why there's seemingly a lot of songs is that there are less of Angus' solos. If you take the legendary Donnington gig for example, they performed a 10 minute version of High Voltage, a 19 minute version of Jailbreak, and a 17 minute version of Let There Be Rock. This was due to Angus performing multiple extended solos during each song. By cutting back on the number of solos he's doing now (and also the striptease act), that means they can include more songs while keeping the show mostly the same length.

I saw them last weekend in Reggio Emilia, Italia. It was a great concert, a truly worthy experience. They are old, but man, they can rock. Brian Johnson is 76, you can notice how he adapted the songs and sometimes needs to breathe, but yeah, he can sing. And Angus is still young (no pun intended), only 69 years old, he runs, jumps, and plays a guitar solo while spinning in the ground surrounded by smoke and confetti explosions. I had an amazing time.

There was a moment at the show i was at for the PWR UP tour. The Pretty Reckless had finished and we were all kinda waiting for ACDC to start their show. When the show began and Angus walked onto the stage. I admit, i saw an old legend way past his prime and thought to myself:"Ain´t no way this will live up to the hype, dude looks like he needs an oxygen tent". 20 Seconds later he did his trademark guitar riff jump step and i was not just immediately blown away by the show but by realization how fast this 70 year old legend was moving. These old legendary bastards still got it in a way that i cannot even comprehend. If you get the chance to see em live in the next few years. Definitely do so. Who knows how long these legends of Rock will still be kicking around.

If you go to Show like this you know what you're getting you are not gonna get AC/DC from the 70s 80s or even the 90s. He was playing quite fast and duckwalking all over the stage - really one of the most unique and greatest guitarplayer of our time. Rythmguitar, Bass and Drums were on point. Only the overall sound was not so good, because the location is a huge Footballstadium. We were standing on the far opposite side of the stage, so the soundwaves mashed together. I totally agree and especially your point, that you cannot see them due to the situation in Ukraine should be a lesson to all the snobs wrinkling their nose and bitching about age and sound and whatnot. We are so lucky to have this opporturnity and I am going to enjoy every second of it. Slava Ukraine!

I saw them on the opening concert and it was awesome. Anybody who got their hands on tickets wont be disappointed. Ive heard people complaining about the sound at the bwginning but that improved and it really was the mood. I was so glad to see these legends have so much fun on stage, Brian couldnt keep smiling and performed, tho after like 30 minutes he and the publicum seemed doubtful that he has eniugh breath for the show. He absolutely did! A must-see for any rock fan!

Seen them for the 1st time in London, Wembley stadium 03/07/2024 It was definitely worth it. I don't know how but they're still energetic and passionate. Brian's voice was surprisingly good, Angus was simply brilliant and the sound quality was amazing. Don't believe the critics when they say it's not the same AC/DC as they're old bla bla, it's not true. It was an amazing show and experience that I'll always be grateful for. Period

Okay, 30 seconds in. I saw them in Nuremberg Germany. IT WAS GREAT!! The opening act with that strange woman who played Cindy Lou Who was not very good. But when the band came out, it was GREAT! Hard to believe they are still rocking so great.

Just saw the first concert in Dresden, they were brilliant, especially Angus. He alone is worth the ticket, guy is a timeless force of nature. Brian is always very good, has difficulty with 1-2 songs but he was mostly really good. Was a fantastic experience, go and see them. Probably not going to go on much longer after this

I remember the day powertrip was announced. I honestly thought it wasn't real and then they announced the date for tickets to go on sale and I just knew I had to go. It was so worth it and I've since chased acdc to Munich twice and now dublin this Saturday. I am so happy I get to see them for one more tour. Going down the Highway to Hell a few more times on this tour whether no matter where in the world it may be.

I've seen them 3 times (For those about to rock/ in 1986-87 forgot which album/ and Black Ice tour) and you know what? THAT'S still not ENOUGH. This band rocks it. Sure, they are older....but you ain't lived until you've seen an AC/DC show. As time has gone on, it's become bigger and better frankly. If they come, I"m going if at possible and taking my son....again.

The idiots that anger me are the dolts who say, "Oh..they just play the same songs in concert".....well you know what - MOST of us DON'T CARE. We want to hear it all AGAIN. People don't want the show to change! In fact, on the Black ICE tour, I thought their show was INCREDIBLE. I'll be going (if at all possible) and taking my son again...

My problem is not really how Brian sounds or looks, it's just that when I see him I don't see someone who takes pleasure in singing anymore. I see someone struggling, very hard on some songs, even though some other songs are pretty okay. And... I'm sorry but the tempo on some songs is all over the place, it makes the whole thing sound like a cover band. Matt Laug is supposed to be a great drummer but there is something off here. I read plenty of people saying that he's a great fit so maybe my ears are the problem, lol. So sure, it's awesome that this band is still on stage in 2024. I'm a fan since 1989 and I saw them in 1996 and 2001. Would I pay the ticket + transport + hotel to see them again? No. If they come and play near my town? Probably yes, but not even sure.

I was on both concerts in Gelsenkirchen. and they absolutely still got it! Second show was even better because you could feel how much fun the have on stage. First Show, I felt they put a lot more pressure on them selves. Of course their age is showing here and there. Brian was exhausted at the end of whole lotta rosie to the point that he didn't sing the last two sentences :D and Thunderstruck is played a bit slower than usual. But overall it doesn't hurt the show and they still kick ass ! Going to see them 3 more times! Can't wait!
