I have also loved the Bahamian Goat for many years. I currently have one that has overwintered and 2 cuttings. The cuttings are super compact. She is the only C.Chinense that has remained stable and has become more carefree every year. I'm very happy that I also have your Lemon Starrburst this year and I'm really excited about the first ripe fruits. best regards 🌶🍑

Hey bud, just as a note the Bahamian Goat Pepper is a commonly used spice pepper in the Bahamas. The trick is the hotter the environment the hotter the pepper gets. I farm them by the way here organically in the Bahamas. They are very tasty peppers.

Hello, I love growing peppers. i seem to always have to deal with white flies through out the growing season and some pest that burrows a hole at the top next to the stem. Do you know what the pest is , and how to eradicate it? What would you suggest to get rid of the white flies?

I have like 6 of these plants. Very hearty and productive. Can't wait for them to ripen so I can make hot sauce with them

I cant agree with you more with the Bahamian Goat Khang, I grew this pepper for the 1st time this year on the strength of your recommendation - plus the fact you grow it year after year. Well yesterday I had a very small pod ripen (I'm in the UK) so the time had come for me to check it out..WOW...!!!! what an aroma, taste and heat..!! once I cut it in half my wife could even smell it across the other end of the table, this is now my number 1 pepper hands down..!!! I have several BG's doing well this year (some in kratkey) plenty of good size pods and one plant in particular is a really interesting phenol which, although the pods are smaller in size, I intend to take seeds from. The pods from this particular plant are uniform and have a great consistent shape, I haven't tried them for flavour yet (as they are still green) but boy they look like they could be the one for future crossing once I grow them out again. The other plants will be trimmed back and overwintered for next year. I also find the Reaper not pleasant, it packs too much punch for me with not enough flavour. Keep up the good work Khang, I am an avid follower and I am pondering now with what I might cross this one with next year..Any recommendations..?

I haven't grown them yet but my buddy Robb Z sent me some Bahamian Goat powder and I am so addicted to using it on my chicken that I don't know what I will do when it runs out! Lol! Awesome review, Khang! You were the first one I ever heard talk about the Bahamian about three years ago! Wow, time goes fast!

thanks for sharing. I have a pepper plant with peppers look remarkably like the peppers in this video. They were sold to me as Carolina Reapers. But they came up looking like the goats that you grew. Have them mixed in with my Reaper plants I got from pepper Joe's.

What is the spiciest yet best tasting pepper? Both by itself and in a meal. And if it’s not too much can you give thoughts on some sauces on “hot ones”? I don’t know why they use “Da Bomb” because I haven’t seen anybody that liked it.

Do you sell the seeds for the GOAT PEPPER? I remember we had a very hot pepper growing up in Jamaica that was called Goat Pepper. It was hotter than the Scotch Bonnet Pepper. Let me know if you have heard of the one from Jamaica also. Please let me know if you sell the seeds. I would love to be able to buy some. Thank you.

Great video! Love the way you describe these. Do you think maybe your tolerance for the heat is building up as you've done quite a few reviews lately? Thanks a bunch for the seek peek on the next pod, looks really awesome!!!
@KhangStarr7 жыл бұрын
I was actually thinking that lol. I think after eating so much peppers lately, I could handle the heat a little more.

How do you judge the peppers in the contest?
@KhangStarr7 жыл бұрын
It's very simple. We set a few rules based on trust. All participants can plant as many plant as they want. They must pick only 1 to count from, the best plant. Keep count of your harvest throughout the season, and when you're ready to present your count, you'll post it to our contest link.
