Megs actually works great as top coat sitting on hard coating. And the slick to touch feels of it really sells for nitpicking clients.

Your test are cool, I like watching them, I prefer the CanCoat as it's more affordable in my country by a lot and it's 200ml compared to Carpro's 150ml, also the spray on method is much easier and is as accurate as the standard one but a lot faster, still carpro is a good company with some great products as well! Cheers!

Thanks so much I really appreciate it, yeah I think the gyeon is the better value but the carpro has its positives especially the looks as it's still the darker looking section by far at this stage

Forgot about ,,The Darkening" :)Indeed, my friend is battling me with his Carpro Lite over my Gyeon Cancoat Evo and has a very big richness in colour and darkening also, bigger than in mine 4 sure, but in my Blue Portimao paint i've noticed a bigger glossines, almost like candyness (is there a word like that? xD) in the finish. Like the car is dipped in water. I really like Carpro stuff don't get me wrong, it's a little bit pricey but not so much over Gyeon. Im just nitpicking :) Please keep doing awesome tests like these and i will be watching as they are super accurate and precise! A real treat to watch!

Yeah they're both great and honestly either one evem after doing this test will be hard for me to pick from. I have both here so may have to flip a cpin to see which I apply to a car haha

Sheeters are so much better for avoiding water spots but unfortunately brands don't really make it or push it as much, Gtechniq did try once but it wasn't well received because everyone thinks beading = superior product. 2 coats of Gyeon or Carpro can easily see between 12-18 months on a well maintained daily.

I think beading eventually equals sheeting (it's such a funny word..) after a degradation period, but yeah I hate sooo much water spots, but hey, at least they can sell you waterspot removers 🤣

I'll be honest, I've never found a product that sheets from the start. They all start off beading and then wear away. They then start sheeting, which gets slower and slower until the water just pools up and stops sheeting at all. The reason I mentioned it in this video is because usually, people will watch just one of these videos a few months into the series and say the product that looks to be sheeting is the best without knowing that for the first four months it was beading like the others and has just begun to break down.

I wonder what the center two would do after a descale wash? Wonder if they would rejuvenate? I bet they would. I have Mohs evo topped with can coat evo topped with Q2 Wax on my old camaro lol. Looks dripping wet.

I'll likely clay them at 12 months mark to see if they can come back a little as I did it with some spray sealants and it did help surprisingly

Very nice test, but in my experience Fusso Coat beats Gyeon Can Coat Evo :| Maybe prep/apply method has something to do with it? Soon I will be applying can coat evo in 6-8 cars, and do another comparison, but here in Brazil Fusso works great, my Sio2 based coatings has trouble with rain/sun/other contamination, waterspots are a nightmare here, and Fusso's holding well. Do you have any other top notch coat recommendation?

Yeah this is my first time using fusso and we've had pretty extreme weather from insane heat waves to record rainfall so it's definitely the extremes of Australian weather. I mostly use full coatings so these are all I've tried so far

@@EvolvedDetails which coats do you recommend the most? I’d like to know from you. I’ve applied Gyeon Mosh on two cars and Syncro on my car, holy, what a good coating so far! But still, Fusso still impresses me for its performance and low cost.

Im at 20 months with can coat evo. I think itll get to 2 years. Then ill polish it and put DIY 3 year graphene and test that one
