I love Valmont; it’s my home park. Alex Bogusky (Joy of Bike channel) donated an asphalt pump track since you were here, and the south side of the park is better. If you’re back near Boulder, try LeftHand OHV or Heil Valley Ranch (my home trails). Magnolia near Nederland is also cool.

I have to agree Floyd Hill is probably one of the best trails on the front range!
@CobraKyle4 жыл бұрын
Hey dude! Good to see you. I'm glad I was accurate in my statement that this was one of the best trails since I didn't get to ride them all!

Floyd Hill is a blast. COMBA did a great job building it. The main downhill line is fun, but doable for average riders. The Alt Lines are super challenging for advanced riders. The new section in the top/back is more XC adventure and adds miles. The climb is kind of short for most front range trails. My son and I double climbed the DH only trail loop in 90 minutes and would have done it again, but he had an appointment. Cool to watch you enjoy it. Floyd Hill is a gem.

It was so great. That drop my friend did looked absolutely terrifying, but something to aspire to!

@@CobraKyle Nate Hills and friend rocked the "alt lines". I stayed in the middel trail like you ... still a blast.

Great video! All the neat trails...views and beauty. Clear sky, unlike the smoke-choke filled air in SoCal. Can't ride at all. So bad. It was so fun to hear you giggling on the trails you liked. Good humor as well!

Thanks Trail Lady! Sorry to see what's going on in California! Hopefully it gets resolved soon and you can get back to riding. Stay safe and best wishes!

"I barely sweat." Welcome to the dry air! Gotta love it! I hope you can make it up here to ID next summer for a visit. I've got several rides with 2,000 feet of climbing, but the elevation isn't as high, so it's easier to breathe! The downhill runs here have some of the best flow you'll find anywhere!
@CobraKyle4 жыл бұрын
Yes dude! I'm really eager to check it out up there. All your videos look stunning and 2,000 feet of flowing descents sounds like perfection.

I've ridden all of those, even pueblo, there are probably 50 little 1 mile dh trails back in the hills. Better than floyd for sure, its just hot. And yes, as a colorado resident, I am laughing at you, but dont worry about it! You are having a blast!

lol thanks! I hope to come back to Colorado to explore more. I will be sure to train more next time I get up there haha

I had put Floyd Hill on my trail list for the road trip I just went on. Stayed in Evergreen, but got rained out the morning I was going to hit up Floyd. Probably best I missed, cause after seeing this I feel like it would've kicked my butt at my skill level pre-Moab at the end of that week, lol :) Glad you had fun!
