Do we always use width as the determining factor for 2400px for a 8x8 300dpi design? So if I wanted 10x10 and the image is not a "perfect" shape (that would fit neatly in a 10x10 box, what dimension do I use to determine the correct pixel size (hope that makes sense). Image is of a person for example but I want it printed large enough on an adult shirt.

width is the most common limiting factor on garments which is why we kind of default there. An adult large shirt can handle a graphic that is 9.5-10" wide. Depending on the shape of the graphic you may find this too large. Best practice for making sure your graphic is the right size is take the width you want to print say 9.5 and multiply that by 300 and you'll get 2850 px, then just make sure your graphic is at least that wide. If the graphic is super tall just double check your vertical limitations and make that the measurement you calculate. I hope that makes sense.

300dpi. DPI and PPI are basically the same thing DPI is physical printing, PPI is digital files. I hope that make sense.

Hi, I discovered you by watching your videos on KZbin. I have an Epson L1800 printer converted to DTF, to print only white logos on a black t-shirt, can I get excellent results by printing the white isotro at 1440x720 or should I print the white at 1440x1440?

If you get good results the lower resolution likely will print faster.

HI, How do I know if white subfloor should look like. How do you imagine that there is a test document for that?

the white underbase should look even and consistent, maybe lighter behind darker colors and when cured should have an orange peel texture to it. Not really any kind of test document for this.
