We love Route 66. For Spring Break we are taking Chicago to St. Louis Route 66 trip. This made me excited for our trip. When I was younger my dad never did reservations. We went to hotel to hotel to see if there is room in the Inn. A few times we stayed at RV parks so my dad could sleep for a few hours. World’s Smallest Chirch, that’s amazing. I love that meteor creator. As a kid I have gone there a few times. Meteor or alien landing site?

You guys drove right past Holbrook Az. Holbrook is the town that the Cars movie was based off of. Locals in Winslow and Holbrook argue back and forth about which town it really was, but Holbrook has the most resemblance to the movie and the old crazy lady car who is always talking about her husband in the movie is based off a restaurant owner in downtown Holbrook. The movie also features the “This is it” sign right off the highway between Holbrook and Winslow. You might have noticed the multiple signs for Jackrabbit. That was it.

Awesome video! I use to live near Winslow Az. I lived in Flagstaff Az. Just up the road. Traveled many times through Winslow, and my cousins graduated at the high school there, went to many of there basketball games. Always wanted to go to Meteor Crater. It was awesome seeing it in your video.

I think staying in some places may need more time to take in all it has to offer, some states may need 2 or 3 weeks of exploring, covering 50 states in any amount of time is a huge goal, enjoy the journey, no matter how long it will take! I'm asking cuz I've been in California all my life and I'm considering going to the following cities Texas Central valley California Las Vegas Texas and Arizona but Arizona is on my top two right now for the fact that I have a few friends in Glendale Arizona Mesa Arizona and Phoenix and they all tell me it's cheaper to live out there

Oh how cool. We haven’t made it to that town yet! If you make it to Ohio and have some time after Michigan has some cool filing location. Downtown East Lansing has the building and location where they filmed Batman vs. Superman, and there’s an island I used to live on called Mackinac Island where they filmed “Somewhere in Time,” and the hotel has a big celebration every year where people dress in clothes from that time period, and sometimes Jane Seymour comes for the festivities. Kind of unique!

I heard that that's one of the cheapest cities to live at in Arizona I'm just wondering how is it crime-wise did it look like a nice city to you guys did you guys drive around a lot or did you get to go through the whole town cuz it's actually a small town from what I heard

We did drive around a lot. We never felt unsafe, but when we swapped tiny homes with a family on a Navajo reservation she let us know that from her perspective there was crime going on there. Like anywhere, some areas looked well kept and others did not. I hope that helps!
