Isn’t storing them in the box a bad idea as it isn’t breathable? I’ve seen many cases of weird things happening to the leather even molding from in box storage over long periods of time.

i agree ....& bubble wrap ??? are they kiddin' ??? lol plastic is the worst thing for storage , it releases chem's & attracts mold ..
