@@fredmercury1314 it’s things like the insurrection. Not understanding how tariffs work. Thinking you can drink bleach for Covid. Not getting how lowering interest rates skyrockets inflation and that Biden was the one who got the inflation rate to stabilize after Trump made them skyrocket, but still wanting new tariffs and to do the same things he did that caused the crazy inflation. All the racist stuff he says his plans to deport people and how expensive and ridiculous that would actually be. His admiration of Hitler. Him seeming to follow the playbooks of leaders like Hitler and Putin. His “friendship” with Putin and the idea that the US could suddenly be an ally of Russia. The things he’s said and done in support of police brutality. How constantly he lies. How ridiculous and asinine his lies are. The things people in his first administration witnessed and tried to warn the country of. Mike Pence being almost killed by his supporters. His messaging to the Proud Boys. His encouragement of violence. His notions that so many new organizations should lose their broadcasting licenses. His Supreme Court picks. When he stole all those boxes of classified documents… like wtf was that?! Him being BFFs with Jefferey Epstein. Trump university being a total joke and getting shut down because of it. The things he’s said about his daughter, really sexual things. Things he said about young women. Insisting on signing his name on stimulus checks, when no president has ever done that before, because he’s an egomaniac and wanted people to think they came from him even though he and the Republicans were against it. His constant 3am crazy tweets. How reactionary he is. How unhinged he is, sometimes even at Fox News, because they’re not bowing down to him enough. His phone calls into Fox News saying crazy shit. His childlike understanding of foreign policy. You could look up stuff on any of those and you’ll be amazed!! Those are just things off the top of my head, but I could keep going. You should be able to find plenty of articles and KZbin videos. There’s so much more than what I’m listing here, but this is a pretty good start. Hope that helps.

The simple answer in the UK is we don't need parties divided along right/left politics, we need a party that divides along a north/soth east axis. If you want to improve the lives of the vast majority of citizens in the UK we need a more even distribution of wealth away from London and the south east. This is the main reason for the deterioration of the majority of the country. Also, by the north I mean everywhere in the realm that isn't in the south east. Do this, and you'll be in power for a very long time.

Obviously why our northern ninnies voted Brexit (and BoJo) then! 😏 But I agree: we need to do something to cater for all regions.
@ianbanks301615 күн бұрын
The problem is we no longer have parties that are divided by left and right, all they have to offer are slightly different versions of the same centrist neoliberal project. We need more left and right division and vision and less of this dismal, failed centrist politics.

Glasgow - shipbuilding (gone to China/Taiwan unless it can get scots ferries sorted) Newcastle no chance to do anything much, Leeds had fin servs but they went in the financial crashes Bradford post wool wealth is stuck up a dark cold moorland hill, as is most of Manchester ( tech university might save it). Fascism. According to Mussolini is when "Everything (exists) within the state, nothing (exists) outside the state and nothing (exists) against the state." Term 'Fascism' because of "fasci di combattimento" from early 20's. Literally militarised unions of former combatant of Grate War. Mussolini never liked that word and always argue with wester journalists. It didn't reflect, in his mind, the true nature of his movement. He preferred the word 'corporationist' but 'fascist' sticked anyway. So calling Trump fascist is odd. Kamala and Democrats on the other hands. The want US Government to control everything and everyone. At least we agree that Trump won't change much. Regime will never allow him to do it.

Trump is a symptom of a country where large numbers are desperate for something to be done. Many do see uncontrolled immigration a big issue, they also have often to work doing 2 jobs one after the other at the equivalent of £6 per hour. People seek happiness and the political system offers little hope, Trump does. It really is nearly as bad here and those in charge and doing the commentating often are those whose lifestyles deprive them of a realistic perspective. You are right the answer has to be left of centre but that does not mean appeasing those that need to be told where the line is. In short we need to have a total rethink of what values we want our society to have in terms of what gives enough material comfort without enticing such inequality. I fear the 'left' may be just as lost in the fog as the 'right' on tacking this issue. Social media and the media generally has to be controlled we must find those with moral virtue to set new parameters as many within our society are damaged goods.

What even the advocates of MMT do not realize is that the problem at the core the economy is the present monetary paradigm for the creation and distribution of new money which is Debt ONLY. The word ONLY designates it as a monopoly paradigm. The last monopoly paradigm we had to deal with was Salvation Via Roman Catholic Scraments ONLY and The Reformation was the result. We need a new monetary paradigm of Strategic Monetary Gifting for an economic Reformation.
